I also asked Jordan Walsh about how his advice from Paul George is paying dividends.
While Walsh has gone to him to help with parts of his offense, like his pull-up jumper, like Hauser, he pointed to George helping him grow on defense:
“I think it's definitely showed up in other ways for sure, other than just offense.
“Like he's a really good defender as well, and so a lot of his advice, yeah, we talk about offense a lot, getting to your shot, being confident with it. But there's certain closeout techniques and steal techniques that he does, I'm trying to figure out as well. So, using that in games as well has been helpful.”
I asked Sam Hauser about learning from Paul George.
Hauser explained how the 4x All-Defensive Team selection is helping him at that end:
“I think early on, I just asked him like, ‘How have you made it this long in the NBA?’
“And I think, on the floor, like he obviously, he's very talented on the defensive side of the ball, and I think kind of just watching him from afar and how he gets steals, how his body positioning, angles, and all that has been pretty impressive to watch.
“And obviously, he makes our defense really, really good when he's out there…Every now and then it's like, ‘Hey, what do you see on this? What can I do to help you on this?’ Kind of deferring to him.”

The Celtics announced what they called "a historic gift of more than $200 million" to Boston Children's Hospital.
Bill Chisholm: "The Celtics have historically been defined by the concept that true legacy is more than what happens on the court. Boston Children’s and the Celtics share a belief that it takes every single one of us to achieve our most ambitious goals. This gift is our commitment to the next generation in Boston and far beyond. We all win when we invest in our children’s futures."

Shaquille O'Neal pays emotional tribute to Ernie Johnson following his retirement announcement
"When I was a youngster, there were three guys as a basketball fan I loved to hear talk: Bill Raftery, Dick Vitale, and Ernie Johnson."
"I got the opportunity to come here and work for you, and I only came here because you were here. You are the controller of this thing people call a circus."
"Without you, it's going to be very, very difficult. I never thought this day would happen."
"I appreciate you, I love you, and thank you. We've had a lot of great years together, and thank you for everything, brother."

Draymond reacts to Ernie Johnson's retirement
"Having an opportunity to work with Ernie on the set with those guys and I say this with all due respect, (Ernie) is the best point guard I've ever played with and that's no disrespect to the great Steph Curry... Ernie Johnson on a set is as incredible as they come... this guy is amazing and so I tip my cap to him heading into his last year."

Giants OC Matt Nagy was--by his own admission-- feeling pretty low. He'd just missed out on all the jobs in the head coaching hiring cycle and was feeling some self-doubt about the whole experience.
Where others saw someone different, John Harbaugh saw an asset. Harbaugh met with Nagy and after 24 hours, he knew he'd found his man.
What that did for Nagy was more than just mean he'd continue to be calling plays in the NFL. It meant he had someone who not only believed in him, but wanted him to ride shotgun on a new journey.
I loved my chat with Matt Nagy on this week's "The Schrager Hour". Here's a snippet. @OmahaProd

I also asked Paul George about Hauser, Scheierman, and Garza’s impact in the Celtics’ win tonight:
“That was the game-changer. I thought they came in, they ignited the crowd, they were diving on balls, they were getting extra possessions.
“And we were at that stretch of 5, 6 points, we couldn’t quite get over the hump. Those guys got us over the hump, and I thought from that point on, it ignited our team and everybody played with that same intensity.”
I asked Joe Mazzulla about Sam Hauser, Baylor Scheierman’s, and Luka Garza’s impact in the Celtics’ win over the Nets tonight.
Those three helped change the energy of the game in the second half.
Mazzulla: “You want to be able to validate the entire roster and just know that at different times you're going to go to different guys.
“And I thought that group came in and it was one loose ball, another loose ball, a couple made shots in transition, some great rebounds, and they got us back in it. And they were able to play from there.
“…Every guy has to impact winning in different ways. I thought those three did a great job of that.”

Joe Mazzulla STANDS BY his decision to leave Mitchell Robinson in the game in the final seconds of regulation and says he will do it again:
"He's working on his free throws but at the end of the day, what a guy really wants is the empowerment and belief."
