One thing I like about Tesla's new FSD referral program is that, unlike the old program, which only allowed first-time Tesla buyers to use your referral code, the new program allows eligible existing Tesla owners to use it, which should make it easier for the people referring to earn rewards. As of the end of Q3, Tesla had ~925,000 monthly paid FSD subscribers globally (about 9% of its existing fleet), an increase of 260,000 subs in just one quarter, or an average of ~2,800 new subs per day - a record high. 75% of new Tesla deliveries in North America included a paid FSD subscription signup in Q3, despite every vehicle already coming with a free one-month trial. Tesla is clearly on a mission to get its entire existing fleet using FSD, as well as all new customers. FSD is going mainstream.
