To everyone who knocked doors, made calls, put up a sign, gave what you could, or simply showed up to vote: Lisa Demuth and I are deeply grateful. You poured your hearts into this campaign, and it showed in every corner of Minnesota.
This isn't the result we worked for, but it's not the end of the story. The ideas we fought for are enduring: safer communities, an affordable life for families, schools that put kids first, and a government that respects your hard-earned money. Those ideas didn't lose their truth on Tuesday night—they're bigger than any one election and stronger than any one wave.
So we should stand tall, because truth, common sense and the hopes of Minnesota families are worth fighting for. Together, we'll keep working to bring those ideas into the light. A new morning will come to Minnesota. I know this because I believe in my heart what you all believe: that Minnesota is worth fighting for.

Last night’s election results didn’t turn out the way we had hoped. We put our all into this campaign, and I want to thank our thousands of volunteers, every supporter, and all the voters who turned out to support the Demuth-Wilson team on this journey.
From central Minnesota to the Iron Range, to southern Minnesota and everywhere in between, thank you to everyone who put their faith in my vision for this state.
I want to thank my running mate, Ryan Wilson. Thank you to my family, who was there every step of the way.
This has been a hard-fought campaign. We started with one opponent, and ended with another. We visited communities all over the state, and spoke with thousands of Minnesotans about the new direction they want to see our state take.
I talked with Amy Klobuchar last night to congratulate her on her victory and to wish her well as she prepares to serve as Minnesota’s next governor.
As our state moves forward there are still things that need to be fixed. My request to all of you is that we work together and we hold people accountable for the changes and the protections that need to happen in this state. Minnesota is our home, and it will always be worth fighting for.

We know Minnesotans are looking for common sense solutions to the problems that two terms of Tim Walz has brought on us all.
Law enforcement endorsed Lisa Demuth, and declined to endorse Amy Klobuchar.
They made clear that the gang problem we face could be cleaned up in 60-90 days with new leadership. That should bring hope to all of us.

As governor I will cut taxes, support Minnesota businesses, and grow our economy. Democrats have doubled our state budget over the last decade, while economic growth in Minnesota has been flat. We cannot afford more of the same – Klobuchar would serve as a Walz third term.
