Since when have Europe's elite been permanent? Villa & Forest (twice) have won the European Cup. Man Utd had to pay AC Milan to visit in '88. A Super League without clubs from the EU's two biggest countries/economies, Germany & France? Do one.

This is fairly pathetic predictable stuff. Why footballers? Why not hedge funders or retail magnates or those with vast unearned inherited wealth? Why not the Prince of Wales?
