We are building the new politics and ethos for resistance movements in the US. They knew this, which is why they are attempting to stop us. Unfortunately for them, the repression was a part of our plan. To support the accused, keep fighting.

The repression is symbolic.
None of the charges will stick.
Locals are not afraid, we are more determined than ever.
Be determined with us.

Why are they charging protesters with Domestic Terrorism?
To generate approval for killing someone with their hands up. Dont underestimate how desperate they are to cover this up.
The real target of the charges is Tortuguita. They are killing the dead again and again.
The student mobilizations to #StopCopCity are truly inspiring. ❤️
Want to support #StopCopCity protestors and South River Music Festival attendees who have been arrested?
Come out on Tuesdays from 6-8pm to write letters to people in jail! Starting TOMORROW evening 💌
👀
This Feb, @BrasfieldGorrie told the police foundation they weren't going to hold contract bidding until "more indictments" came down on protesters.2 weeks later, 23 festival goers charged with terrorism. What is it called when corporations control the police and courts?

Today would have been Manuel "Tortuguita" Esteban Paez Terán's 27th birthday. We joined activists w/ @NLGChicago, @PilsenCommBooks, & the Weelaunee Defense Society to honor Tortuguita's life & act in solidarity with the movement to #StopCopCity & defend the Waulanee Forest. 🐢
ALT Ten activists stand outside of the Bank of America tower in Downtown Chicago holding a sign that reads, "Happy Birthday Tortuguita." One of the activists also holds a sign that says "Stop Cop City."

We've been saying it since January: police will always lie to the public to cover up their own crimes. Tortuguita never shot at police. Now that the coverup is unraveling, will the public demand accountability? Will GSP get away with murder?

The Dekalb Medical Examiner released an autopsy today stating that there was *no gunpowder residue* on Tortuguita’s hands when they were killed. They never fired a gun.
We knew this all along. APD, Georgia State Patrol, and the GBI have lied to us. This an attempted cover-up.
Tortuguita’s death will not be in vain. Cop City will never be built.
Join us this Earth Day weekend, on Tortuguita’s birthday, to honor their life and learn more about the movement to #StopCopCity.

Some people ask if Cop City is only a local to Atlanta thing. The answer is no. A large percentage of pigs that will be trained there will be coming from outside of Atlanta. If the project is completed, it will be repeated elsewhere.
A courthouse building under construction by Cop City contractor Brasfield & Gorrie partially collapsed yesterday here in Savannah. B&G endangers workers and communities everywhere.

This is hardly the first time that Brasfield & Gorrie has endangered people’s lives. In 2013 they constructed a faulty flight display sign at the Birmingham airport that killed a child and injured his mother and two brothers.
