Jonathan Tjarks and I became friends while working at SB Nation in 2012. I cherish the nights we spent watching basketball together.
I wrote about what Tjarks' friendship meant to me, and the towering legacy of kindness he leaves behind. Rest easy, buddy

Bulls lose by 43 on opening night. The Cash Considerations podcast is on it.

The Bulls can’t drive, can’t rebound, can’t force defensive takeaways, and can’t shoot. Other than that everything is great.
RIP Stacey King. What a wonderful human being, and also the best possible ambassador of the Bulls. Anyone who got to know him will never forget him. This season just won't feel right without him.
10 hours of driving in one day was worth it to be there for the return of NBA basketball. I’ll be in Indianapolis on Friday for Tyrese Haliburton’s return.
On a sunny fall afternoon in Detroit, there was nothing better than being back in the gym.
My story on the Pistons pulling off the biggest comeback in NBA opening day history against the new-look Celtics. Both teams left with lots to chew on.

Asked Jalen Duren about how Detroit stopped the Celtics’ possession maxing and beat them on the glass.
It was easy to see that Paul George would be a disgustingly good fit for how the Celtics play. So much more disruptive in the passing lanes with a significantly quicker trigger from three than ... some people.
Jayson Tatum is a hard player for some to understand because he's like a B+ at the superstar stuff, but an A+++ at the dirty work stuff for a superstar
The level of disrespect the Celtics have for Ausar Thompson in the halfcourt is jarring. Mitch Robinson is "guarding" him 15 feet away. Ausar still finding a way to make an impact offensively by cutting to the rim and spraying out quick passes for 3PAs when the ball swings to him

Drove to Detroit to cover the Pistons-Celtics season opener. Shout out to Pistons PR for being so accommodating.
