There's always discourse flying around about commission artists, but this is it. This really is the secret sauce. Communicate with your clients (all the better if you reach out first when something needs to be said). So much can go more smoothly when you talk!
this is a case by case basis for every artist. some artists only take art comms as a part-time freelancing job. what matters here the most is you are communicating with your client as much as you can. i also do believe that artists shouldn’t take too much time on comms. (1/3)

It's a learning curve to be sure when you begin, goodness knows I didn't used to be the best at it, but Addressing The Situation will become your most powerful tool and commendable trait as any kind of businessperson.

Once when visiting York a fox appeared from behind some hedges on a main road and cut me off on the pavement before crossing over. I thought it was a little bit rude but tourists gotta give way to the locals. She definitely wasn't rat-like. Owned the Stonebow road.
one time my aunt, who exclusively travels to italy, had to go to england for work and she called me and whispered, 'there's foxes running through the streets like rats' and i was like, 'where in england are you??' and she was like, 'london'

Velvet.. velvet everywhere. I love a good cell shade but it's fun to steadily work on a render every now and then. Pattern and embroidery to follow.

The 10th anniversary update dropped AND they put a sale on. I'm so serious if you've ever wanted to try or re-try No Man's Sky, NOW is the time.

Amazing to play with friends, superb if you're alone, there's so much game for your money. I'd say it's totally unrecognisable from launch a decade ago but it's bones and style have always stayed the same. I love it to bits.
