Why? Because the New York Post and MAGA social media mobs decided the school’s social justice curriculum made it a political target. Let that sink in: a school teaching kids empathy and history is now being treated like a crime scene. The school’s “offense”? Teaching about George Floyd’s murder. Posting a sign reminding ICE that they need a judicial warrant to enter. Encouraging staff to follow the law and protect students. In MAGA world, that’s apparently enough to justify threats, harassment, and calls to defund a school full of children.
