12/14 Saturday 10am-1pm at 7th Precinct is Breakfast with Santa. 12/18 Wednesday 5-7pm is Shop w/a cop starting at McDonalds and moving to Kohl’s

Our next scheduled event is 9/29. UNIFORMS REQUIRED! We will meet AT police HQ probably close to 8:30 am but I will verify they don’t need us any earlier.

In our area-on 9/29 at 9/9:30 am at SCPD HQ there will be a 5k/Fun run for the Anthony Bocchimuzzo Memorial Scholarship Fund. Our 7th precinct Explorer Post volunteers with crowd control but extra hands are always needed. Thank you.

Saturday Sept 7 around 9 am we need as many as possible to help clear and dig a space for an improvement project IFO the 7th precinct. Bring clothes in case you get dirty and shovels if you have them! The more people we have, the faster it’s done.
Don’t forget the next meeting is TUESDAY September 3 at 6:30 pm at the 7th covering USE OF FORCE AND DEFENSIVE TACTICS instructed by a retired academy Sgt. PLEASE wear workout gear!! No uniforms or new members on this day.

@SCPDHQ Commissioner Geraldine Hart, First Deputy Commissioner James Skopek and Deputy Commissioner Risco Mention-Lewis recently met with members of the Police Explorers Program at Police HQ to discuss potential career paths in law enforcement and educational opportunities.
Our Explorers got to sit and speak with the Police Commissioner and her 2 DPC’s to talk about our program. We have big plans on the horizon. Contact the 7th precinct at 631-852-8700 for more information on the SCPD Explorer program.
