New episodes of #VisionQuest drop tonight

James Watkins says he approached ‘CLAYFACE’ as a complete story without focusing on a sequel: “I liked the standalone nature of it. I liked how it felt like it introduced a character. But I wasn’t trying to introduce the character to go, ‘OK, what next?’ I was trying to introduce the character as a full meal in itself.” (@Variety)

Phil Lord says ‘SPIDER-MAN: BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE’ combines a 2D animation approach with a new camera pipeline: “The particular looks that we’re doing are really, really unique & they don’t follow rules of three-dimensional animation. They’re much more in a 2D multiplane kind of style. The camera work pipeline is completely new & a lot more akin to a live-action pipeline. So it’s a lot more handheld. There’s live-action operators that are part of it, like shooting things virtually. The camera work is outstanding.” (@MattBelloni)
