Shape the Future with Mechatronics Engineering at SFU: Innovate, Create, Excel!

SFU’s School of Mechatronics hosted FIRA RoboWorld Cup Canada Open on May 18-19! Participants, from children to university students, showcased autonomous vehicles, flying robots etc. SFU’s Robotics Club, led by Ahmed Badway, won 3rd in the autonomous race car category.

SFU Mechatronics' Dr. Woo Soo Kim (sfu.ca/gradstudies/about/awa…) received SFU Grad Studies' 2023 Award for Excellence in Leadership and Dr. Faranak Farzan (sfu.ca/gradstudies/about/awa…) received 2022 Award for Excellence in Supervision.
