people asking why ao3 didn’t give a heads up. imo the issue is unexpected to them too. they always give a heads up in the past
that said, ao3 is run by VOLUNTEERS. they don’t get paid. please be kind, patient and respectful to them
thank you ao3 volunteers for all that you do
#AO3 maintenance is in progress. We expect it to take at least 12 hours, but it may take longer. We will provide updates as necessary. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…

the concept of gta 6 coming out before we get ao3 back
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

This comic issue is shaping up to be more & more fun, really glad it seems more focused on MC2 & Spider-Girl is probably the main lead. While it's still very multiverse focused & the dialogue could end up being off, I'm actually looking forward to this

This is worse than 9/11

Also Ewing's voice for the Ancient One is very fun. He's profoundly wise, but not in a stereotypical old mentor way. There's vigor and power and humor to him. It feels nice.

I love the couple of replies to this being more upset that Zdarsky simply doesn’t care about the marriage instead of the fact that he undid One More Day
He’s not writing Amazing Spider-Man, it’s literally not his job to worry about that in an Avengers book

ao3 being down is bad news for batman tiktok fans because it means they need to read the actual comics now

Everyone focusing so hard on OMD possibly being undone no one noticed they basically pulled a Dragon Ball GT and now all the bad guys can just Leave Hell whenever they want lmao

While this isn’t quite the definitive victory many Spider-Man fans are hoping for or asking for, it’s a good start. Keep the pressure up.

Option 1: Peter & MJ finally remember OMD but they “consider their Wedding a Mistake” and Story leads to Nothing. Lazy Writting.
Option 2: OMIT 2 “they are forced to let go of each other because they aren’t meant to be” by exploring deeper the outcomes of the story.

AO3 IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS
they do not get paid for any of this. be kind, patient, and respectful to the volunteers who work hard to keep ao3 running, fight against censorship, and protect writers, fanfics, and people’s rights/freedom to write whatever they want, however they want
I'm not too torn up since I mostly use ao3 for posting rather than reading.
