Fantastic chat with the UK yesterday. Great listeners with great questions--they could even understand my funny accent! My second visit with @SJMCSchool and hopefully the second of many!
Year 6 were thrilled today to be able to chat to the author of one of our favourite books!! A huge, huge thank you to @tomrogersbook for getting up early to speak to us from his home in California. He shared with us some background on the book, his writing for Disney animations

Got up early to chat with Miss White's Year 6 students at @SJMCSchool in Manchester, England. What a delight! Sharp readers who were ready with fun, challenging questions. Good thing I came prepared with about a bucket of coffee. Keep writing AND rewriting!
I am so proud of Year 6 today! What a fantastic afternoon we have had. A huge thank you to @tomrogersbook for giving up his time (and getting up so early for us!) to discuss his writing, 9/11 and his writing for Disney and TV. The children absolutely loved it and asked some
