SMCC was blessed to welcome back Very Rev. Chris Alar, MIC, Class of 1988, to campus on the Feast of St. John Paul II. Fr. Chris shared personal stories about St. John Paul II’s love for the Eucharist and devotion to Divine Mercy with our students in the chapel. He was especially delighted to see the Divine Mercy window dedicated to Brother Bradley J. Flint, FSC (Class of 1991), a gift from the Flint family in his memory. During his visit, Fr. Chris toured campus, reminiscing about his time at SMCC and seeing how much the campus has changed over the years. Our students also marked the feast day during Theology classes with St. John Paul II trivia, time for silent prayer in the chapel, and plenty of desserts! Thank you for visiting your alma mater, Fr. Chris. You’re always welcome at SMCC! #BeSaltAndLight #FindYourWings
