Well done Y6 Mathematicians @stelizcp6 I really like the way you have 'unpicked' the reasoning questions.
In Maths we are concentrating on those tricky reasoning questions. We’ve looked at the given information and written down what we’ve noticed. We have then thought of our own questions. @SMCLtdMaths

Keep up the concentration and counting skills Reception Mathematicians @StAdlington Well done!
Replying to @StAdlington
@StAdlington reception have been working hard in #Maths today to make 10 with a partner. Great concentration and counting skills reception. @SMCLtdMaths @LT_Trust

Well done Mathematicians in Miss Jones' Class @RimroseHope I like the way you have used different resources to show what happens when you count in 5s. Keep up the great work.
Miss Jones' Maths' Class enjoyed our practical counting in 5s lesson #mathisfun @SMCLtdMaths

One of my favourite mathematical books! I loved the way the mathematicians in RW @RimroseHope have compared and measured length and width. Great photos!
A brilliant day celebrating #WorldBookDay in RW with the dazzling book ‘Lifesize’. It made for an action packed maths lesson! @SMCLtdMaths We measured the height of an elephant outside and compared our height to it and used Numicon pegs to measure the length and width of animals.

Well done Nursery mathematicians @LanderRoad Great growing patterns with cubes!
Children aged 3 and 4 creating their own growing patterns in Nursery today! Young mathematicians at work 👷🏼‍♂️ @SMCLtdMaths @NCETM #eyfs #Math
Well done Y3 Mathematicians @StAdlington using counting sticks to support recall and patterns of times tables. Keep up the good work!

@StAdlington year 3 showing off their maths skills using their mini counting sticks as a resource to support their times table learning @LT_Trust @SMCLtdMaths #Maths #timestables
Well down Mathematicians @BedfordYear2 I loved the way you have explored counting in 2s and 5s!

Hurrah for the arrays and the exploration of factors. Keep up the great work mathematicians @Class3_StDavids
Investigating factor pairs this morning by creating different arrays. @WhiteRoseMaths @SMCLtdMaths #welovemaths
I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with Reception children @BedfordYearRec exploring counting and measures in the mud kitchen. The mud soup was perfect!
We also had @SMCLtdMaths visit on Friday. Sarah made some mud soup with us in our mud kitchen and was impressed with our Mathematical language and counting skills. Thank you for visiting! 🔢@BedfordPrimary
I love the 'You Choose' Maths area in Y2 @BedfordYear2 Lots of resources to help you prove, convince and justify!
M istakes A llow T hinking to H appen In year 2, we encourage our children to choose resources that can help them solve problems. There is always a constant buzz in our ‘You Choose’ maths area, and it is always a great opportunity for discussion @SMCLtdMaths @BedfordPrimary

What a great idea from Y1 @st_swinton to use a voting station to reason which shape is the odd one out. Keep up the explaining of your ideas too!
🗳Today, we used our voting station to help us with our reasoning skills! Which shape do you think is the odd one out? Year 1 could explain their ideas really well. 🟢🟪🔻@NCETM @SMCLtdMaths

Well done Y2 Mathematicians @StBellarmine I really like the way you have used manipulatives to prove your predictions and work systematically.
We have been investigating number bonds in Year Two, using them to work on our problem solving skills. We have learnt how to make a prediction, work systematically to find all possibilities and identify repeats! @SMCLtdMaths
I like the way the children in Miss Jones' class @RimroseHope are proving that they have found all possibilities. Keep up the great work Mathematicians!
Miss Jones’ Maths Class we’re finding all possibilities today using our number bonds to ten. #weareproblemsolvers @SMCLtdMaths

I love how the Year 2 children @BedfordYear2 are adding to it too! Keep all the great work.
Our maths working wall transforms every lesson! I love how the children are adding to it independently throughout the day 👍🏼👏🏼 @BedfordPrimary @SMCLtdMaths
