A 95-year old of Anyanya movement General, Joseph Lagu Yanga, during Finance Minister’s recent visit to him, expressed his deep concern for South Sudan's progress since independence and requested a tour to familiarize himself with Juba’s development and expansion.
President Kiir urged the people of Tonj and the wider Warrap community to welcome the new governor with open hearts and minds, and to work together with him in restoring peace. This came after swearing-in of the Ambassador Bol Wek Agoth as the new Governor of Warrap State.
Archbishop Hogan thanked President Kiir for his continued support of the church, especially following recent development at the Vatican.
