Today I found out recent news that honestly disappoints and quite frankly irritates me.
While I won't go into who, since they seem remorseful, I wanna give my stance.
Sexual Assault is not a joke. Rape is not a joke. While I can thank God that nothing has happened to me, I have friends that have been raped, groomed, etc. These people live with anger, confusion, fear and ultimately loss of self confidence. The words you say on the topic, even if not directed at them, can still have an effect on them... from choosing to not speak up, or a much, much worse scenario.
While I love the person to death, I cannot support their actions when they've continuously made jokes on the matter. It is NOT a laughing matter and will not be treated otherwise. I wanna make that perfectly clear.
Lastly, I wanna say this:
If you are a victim, YOU HAVE A VOICE. Speak Up. SCREAM it if you have to. There are people who will listen. There are people who care. You are NOT alone.

In case I didn't make it clear. This is NOT an attack on AXW, nor an attempt to deface it. I love AXW and a majority of the community.
I'm only talking about certain people within it. And no, I wasn't forced to do the stuff I did for AXW. It was always my choice.
To clarify, I brought the story of my mom in and it was okay to bring it up IN CHARACTER, but the shit that pissed me off was what was said OUT OF CHARACTER
