This JMU outcome tonight, is honestly what Liberty needs from them for the rest of the season. Them losing 2 and falling out of playoff contention, but then routing teams potentially onward only helps us.
The rout @SSN_FAUOWLS is putting on UTSA puts Liberty that much closer to a potential @CFBPlayoff bid should Boise falter…

New chapter for Sidelines Liberty! 🔥
Hey Flames Nation, I’m Michael. I’ve been following Liberty Athletics since 2004. I’ve witnessed the highs, the lows, the heartbreaks, the unforgettable moments, and the incredible growth of Flames Athletics over the years. 1/3
From the Big South days to ASUN, FBS football, Conference USA, and the Fiesta Bowl, it’s been quite a ride.
I’m excited to take over this account, bring some new energy, and continue covering the teams and university we all love.
Here’s to what’s next.

I think we could be seeing Liberty receiving a few votes for the Top 25 next week. The Flames odds of making the playoff according to ESPN FPI increased from 1.4%⏩4.6% after the win against Kennesaw State and JMU losing to App State.
With all the news of JMU leaving the Sun Belt. Should Liberty try to get into the Sun Belt?
What are your thoughts?
How we are playing today is how we should be playing against 70% of our opponents on our schedule year end and year out. This team should be winning no less than 8 games a season in CUSA.
I really have to agree with this. This team looks completely different this is probably the best game I have seen in the past two years.
Absolute embarrassment of a game. Players celebrating acting like we won the Super Bowl. What a joke.
