This is what the iPhone Duo folio cover should be.
There should be a cutout in the front cover opposite of the camera cutout on the rear cover so that when you fold the front cover to the back of the phone, the rear cameras can pass through and the 2 halves of the folio cover can sit completely flush.
This window on the display could also be used to display the time or other information so that you don’t have to flip the front cover around just to see basic info.

This seems like it would never happen for 1,000 reasons but have to wonder if the Touch ID discourse continues if Apple considers adding HomeView-like facial recognition to the iPhone Duo with very specific parameters like requiring Touch ID or PIN hourly or some such.

The iPhone Duo has the best crease control among all foldables, and its nano texture finish effectively reduces glare. However, when displaying dark content under ambient light, the screen looks somewhat washed out or grayish compared to other foldables.

OpenAI has currently three different Reasoning menus in the ChatGPT iOS app.

The two biggest Apple fumbles under John’s leadership so far:
1. Apple first said the new Photographic Styles is coming to iPhone 16 and 17 series. But later completely backtracked and made it exclusive to the 18 series.
2. They are keeping the new Readiness feature in watchOS exclusive to Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. Even tho older watches are completely capable of calculating it.
Older models also support HRV, training load, vitals, sleep score, and other metrics they use to calculate readiness. They could’ve totally made it work.
I hope these decisions are not specifically from John and do not reflect what he’s gonna do at Apple in the coming years.

This iPhone Duo lock screen animation is exactly why android will never catch up to Apple. sure someone could copy it in two hours, but for 8 years nobody in the android world has even thought to try. that's the real gap.
