As RWAs continue to gain attention, I think it's worth remembering that not every project in this space deserves it. Some projects have a clear problem they're trying to solve. You can follow the idea, understand how the product fits into the picture, and see why it might matter. Others have nice websites, big promises and a lot of technical language, but the more you look into them, the harder it becomes to understand what they're actually building. Sometimes the problem isn't even that the idea is bad. It's that the product is poorly defined, the token's role is unclear, or the claims are much bigger than the evidence available. And I think that's where we have to be careful. When you write about a project, you're not just sharing information. You're also attaching your name to it. If we keep giving attention to projects we haven't properly understood, especially ones that can't clearly explain what they do, we risk losing the trust we're trying to build. So when I research an RWA project, I want to understand a few things: What problem is it solving? What is it actually building? How does the asset connect to the product? And what evidence supports the claims being made? Not every project will have all the answers yet. Early-stage projects are allowed to be early. But there should be a clear idea, an honest account of what's been built, and a credible path forward. Some projects will be worth a deep dive. Others might teach us something useful. And some simply won't be worth writing about. I'm learning that knowing the difference is just as important as knowing how to tell the story.
