One has to admire the ANC for its acceptance of the recent election result in South Africa.
Its recognition that it is not entitled to govern just because of history stands in marked contrast to Zanu PF and its view that simply because of history it is entitled to govern Zimbabwe for ever.

President Thabo Mbeki's mother was something else. Despite the fact that her son was the country's president, she went grocery shopping in rural village bakkies and buses. She refused to have fancy furniture. She had plastic wrapped maroon couches. The home wasn’t even fixed. It looked like any other village home, with mud huts. She queued for the pension, just like everyone else. She loved her people. She claimed that she doesnt want to lose connection with her people.

Prince Mashele's prediction leaves a shock wave across social media.
The political analyst was on the Sunday World podcast, hosted by JJ Tabane. On the Local Government Elections subject, he predicted that the ANC would see a decline and that the DA would enjoy marginal growth. He further stated that he was prepared to eat his socks if his prediction was off the mark.
