Many times right after a hard season & a victory the enemy will attack… Targeting an attack on… A vulnerable position. An exhausted position. A depleted position. An exposed position. Reaching the summit…then attacking on the decent. Remember Elijah. Food, water, rest.

One of the enemies oldest tactics is convincing you that his voice is your voice… Attacking your identity. Attacking your behavior. Attacking your circumstances. You must know who you are & who you walk with. The enemy is patient, subtle. He prowls like a roaring lion…

The temptation to quit is the enemy. The doubt you’re feeling is the enemy. This feeling of losing is the act of being pruned. Olives do not produce oil just by growing on the tree. It must be pressed, crushed & squeezed. There is a value being extracted. You must work through it

It is important to know the differences between surrendering & quitting… The enemy is standing by waiting for you to mistake one for the other. One requires faith whilst the other is faithless. Quitting abandons the field. Surrender is a heart posture toward God in the field.

A lion does not chase a rock. A fire does not burn wet wood. Your yes to God means something! The enemy does not attack what is not a threat… The opposition is targeting you because you are heading toward Christ. Mark 1: 9-13

The enemy is formidable. Yet YOU have a strategy from multiple defensive angles & also have an offense 1 John 4:4 (internal) Psalm 34:7 (external) Luke 10:19 (delegated authority) The enemy is completely outmatched & knows it. The enemy operates from a place of defeat.

The enemies primary weapon is the narrative of your defeat… Your praise and trust in the Lord disorients & confuses the enemy. Praise in the storm. Praise in the pain. Praise in the suffering.

Walking in Truth will not deceive you. Nor will you deceive others. Psalm 86:11 2 Corinthians 13:8 2 John 1 3 John 1: 3-4

God doesn’t just work some things for good…He works ALL things. Trust God. He is working everything you’ve done, are doing, and will do actively toward the good of your life. Romans 8:28 Carrying the fear of living your 2nd best life causes despair… Trust God. Jonah 3:1

Your identity isn’t built upon what you’ve done. Yet It is built upon what Christ has done for you.
