ATTENTION CURLERS: Please support businesses who have supported you in the past to ensure we all can make it through this Pandemic whole. This is about our whole sport & not just personal allegiances. Local curling stores, direct from manufacturers, etc. They all need your help. – at Red Lake, Ontario

On #WorldEmojiDay we salute Japanese engineer @komatsuh, who created the #curling emoji.
“I am already very glad to hear you are happy about the Curling emoji. So please use the Curling emoji a lot. It makes me happy :)”

When you are in ON drop me a note I will make sure you get to try our sport. Perception and reality are 2 different things. Curling clubs/centers are one of the most open and welcoming environments. As a sport we need to change perception to grow our sport in all communities.
I have only watched the sport for at least 25 years and always wanted to play the sport but as a person of colour don’t know where to start. If I start and enter a curling club. I might get eyes that I don’t belong there. Afraid!!!!

Good news! Curling Canada is putting 100% of their resources into ensuring clubs survive.
Just kidding! Their 'top priority' is the Olympics.
Not the clubs
Not the MAs
Not even our own national championships

And while I was listening to some curling commentary, I was busy with my super delicious mac and cheese submission.
Sharp cheddar mac with an onion, oregano, butter and toasted bread crumb topping.
Presentation is everything, but damn this was tasty! 😋 #curlerswhocook

With this decision @CurlON_ will work to schedule our 2019-2020 U-18 Men & Women Provincials in the fall of 2020. With all facilities closed until at a minimum of March 31st it is in the best interest of our athletes, facilities and supporters to re-schedule to the fall.

In partnership with our Member Associations, we are strongly urging all curling centres in Canada to immediately temporarily suspend all domestic sanctioned curling activities, until further notice, in light of the public health risks associated with COVID-19. 2/4

Big thanks to Jason and the member volunteers at @STROUDCURLING for putting on a great U18 Spiel. We were missing our mate but still managed to pull off a 3-0 record and a win in the final. #Grateful

Let’s all do our part and put an end to bullying!
Don’t do it.
If you see/hear it...stop it.
If you’re told about it...deal with it.
