Oh dear heavens, the gemstone bearer just keeps on babbling! I'll have to stop mid-babble though. I'm late for leaving the coffee shop.

Professor Abigail in TGC: "Ooh!" she exclaimed as she slowly approached Remi. "Is that an Emeralian fairy?! You don't know how long I've waited to research one of these!" "Watch it, Lady!" my companion understandably complained. "Do I LOOK like a science experiment to you?!"

Note: TGC is "The Garnet Chronicles". I will eventually rewrite this scene in Gemstone Journeys, as both the Garnelian and Aira's group are present.

The characters really do write themselves. I type the formal announcement of Aira's group, and the Fluorite Scholar shouted "Oh, goody!" in my head right after I finished the sentence. I don't know whether to be excited or fearful about typing the next conversation.

"Not much happened during the waiting apart from pointless commentary and the lass harping about actually getting to meet a gemstone bearer." Little did Aira know that she had actually met a FORMER gemstone bearer earlier in the adventure.

If I can compare Abigail, the Fluorite Scholar, to an anime character, it would be Mei Hatsume from My Hero Academia. Those two could have been sisters!

Gemstone Journeys is going to have quite the proofreading phase. Segel has opted to refer to himself in the third-person. However, there are many instances where the first-person feels far more natural. I need to establish using first-person solely for narration.

Almost done with my ninth read-through of the Bible. Next read-through, I think I’ll do two chapters instead of one. Reading time feels too short otherwise.

My comment on King Zora in OoT was intended for humor. But I realized the serious undertone shortly after posting. The remake discourse has not been pleasant to read. This scene could very well cause an uproar if it gets altered. (Cont.)
Replying to @ElementalsGami1
The entire remake hinges on this one scene.

This highlights a huge hurdle in doing remakes. The original often has small moments that leave huge impressions. Altering or removing those moments can cause opinions of the remake to sour. The remake can be superior, but it’s these small moments that make the impacts.

Looking forward to playing as Fu Xi and Nu Wa. I wonder how different they are from their Orochi counterparts. I remember Orochi Nu Wa being especially deadly. #NintendoSwitch2 #DynastyWarriors #DW3

Zhenji and all three factions complete. So, that was an ending. Also, never got her third weapon, sadly. Lots of fun to use. Her Musou attack is deadly as all get-out. Moving on to Other and eventually training the three guest characters. #NintendoSwitch2 #DynastyWarriors #DW3

Having filled the Rage and Blue Magic lists twice, I can relate to the ending of that post. Oh boy, that was insane.
FF6って何も考えずプレイする分にはすごく面白いんだけど、やり込もうとすると途端に面白くなくなるんだよな(個人の感想)

Almost to meeting the Fluorite Scholar. So, the only interaction so far was via intercom, and the first impression is already making waves. Aira's so used to Segel's stuffiness that the casual speaking of the Scholar caught her off-guard.

Aira's probable facial response when she sees the capitol building in Scien:

Actually, it might be more the Garnelian's facial response, now that I think about it.

Whew. So, that was a trip through the search engine. The Garnet Chronicles notes the capitol building being a cluster of domes connected with glass tunnels. In Gemstone Journeys, Segel notes its resemblance to a molucular structure. In short, a carbon cluster.

Just glanced at one of the earliest chapters of Gemstone Journeys. I like character development that is so strong yet subtle enough to only be seen by revisiting the beginning of the story.

Microfiction Monday! @mondaymicrofic Prompt: arugula I haven't had it myself, but now I'm interested. I might go buy some at the store today.* But yeah, I wanted to write another coffee shop scene from Gemstone Journeys. Shame I couldn't fit in more. *post typed on Saturday.
