This past Friday night October 30 at the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey it happened again, another new Boxing Promoter bounced checks to the fighters & Boxing Commission. The culprits this time were Akmal Aslanov & Jimmy George. And don't mention a surety bond, takes too long to collect on those for anyone's liking. An easy fix to this recurring problem, require all new Promoters to have all money that will be owed the night of the event to be held by the Boxing Commission 30 days prior to the event. That is a sure fire way of solving the problem. This is a shame that Boxing has come to this.
