New data from @ELAN_Trial presented by @StrokeBern @FishingNeurons and @mbgoeldlin suggest that benefit of early start of DOAC after stroke is equal for all stroke sizes, probably even biggest in large sized strokes. Investigators did a great job estimimating stroke size 👏👏

Algorithms won’t replace stroke experts but they might be able to improve mimic detection by ED or EMS personnel. No one TS mimic score stands alone but provide complementary info.
