Each Year Underwood Farms delivers thousands of pumpkins to community service organizations such as Safe Passage and MANDO. Today we are delivering them on behalf of Underwoods for Teen Fridays ( Mando) and Saturdays ( CRPD) youth events in the Conejo. The Underwoods are more than a family , they are the sense of community . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a day for over 60 kids taking them to Underwood Farms who year after a year supports joy and families. One of our main pillars is to make sure kids don’t feel isolated, but that they feel and are a part of the community and this is just one of our daily programs. Thank you, Conejo, Recreation Park District, and Underwood Farms.

Here is the Anti Gang Recipe. A strong community police force and A big shout out to our food pantry volunteers. Yesterday was SAFE PASSAGE weekly meal pantry. Each week they feed between 50 and 160 families with kids. They can't do it without their volunteers and amazing partners like Ventura County Sheriff. Adelante and Food Share and Food Forward, St. Vincent de Paul Athens Services, Conejo Community Outreach, Los Robles Hospital, Art Trek, Kiwanis and more. Each are part of the community equation for joy

Safe Passage focuses on keeping youth out of gangs. Over 600 kids a week need your help. It takes a community pulling together and more than just a weekly visit to check in on a kid. It's a seven day a week program... FREE, year-round starting when their infants and letting them know that they mean something to the world and the world cares about them.

Access to swim lessons shouldn't depend on a family's budget — that's why all Safe Passage Youth activities are 100% volunteer-run and always free. This week, our swim lessons were in full swing and it's a reminder of why we do this work.
200+ kids a year learn to swim through this program. 200+ families with one less thing to fear at the pool, the lake, or the beach.
None of this happens without our incredible volunteers showing up week after week. Huge thank you to Renee and Dee, and to the entire staff at CRPD.

We did it. The first ever mobile kids, free dental clinic, in the Conejo Valley. Thanks to our friends at Conejo Free Clinic and their amazing dentists. This Saturday at 9:30 AM will be our first clinic. 1707 Calle Diamonte . Children can receive dental checkup free, ❤️ no strings attached. we expect this to grow each month. Partnered with Conejo Free Clinic the idea is to make the community safer and resilient and happy and joyful and that means keeping kids healthy. Safe passage Youth is all about providing pathways from infants to adulthood. As an all volunteer lead community organization, we depend on all of our fellow nonprofits to provide complete basket of social services for families to help nurture them.
Conejo Assisteens are huge supporters of kids. Each year they provide hundreds of birthday gifts and kits for Mom’s to provide for their child, so that no toddler or teen goes without that special day. For families that are living close to the edge economically, finding relief on a joyful day for their child and that assistance that these teens provide is critical for a happy community. The Assistance league teens are always there. The smiles on so many kids in August and September is contagious. This is one of our favorite times of year making hundreds of birthdays for children a day to remember.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

School is starting. We did it again thanks to all of our partners and supporters and volunteers over 1000 backpacks passed out to local children filled with supplies and everything they need . It’s been a fun three weeks getting the kids ready for school

This is a big week, kids are getting ready to go back to school. Money is tight for moms and dad’s, especially those living in underserved communities. Safe Passage is there for you Moms. We offer free hair stylists and barbers for families with kids that need a little boost of community support. Last week we passed out 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies. Providing kids with what they need for school . This week will be focused on helping in other ways . ❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Safe Passage Youth is in full swing with 1-5th grade summer camps every day, free families swim lessons, kids field trips , all of our 27 programs are in full speed, including our youth boxing gym and all of our infant and toddler programs. Special shout out to volunteer leaders Gabe and Dorothy, Art Trek, TOPD, CRPD, CLU and a huge Thank you to UCSB Bren School Team , Lotus, Conner, Kim, Patti, Keith, James and Leslie. This week our teen outdoor school went to Cambria and camped at Rancho on the beach and volunteered for UCSB projects , all while getting outdoor classes from their staff and a full marine biology/ ecology course. Whether kids are 1 year old or 17, we have a program going for them. Showing them good choices and safe passages to adulthood 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
