Very proud of my son for winning a @dressCodeHQ competition! He spent so much of his free time teaching himself how to make the game and problem solve. Amazing achievement, finally recognised by the school and the Council after 4 months!

Yesterday was officially my last day at the Library, with the Council and as a Librarian.

10/11 - I’d also like to thank @CILIPScotland for awarding me Scotland’s Library & Information Professional of the Year 2017, which was an amazing experience, the highlight of my career, and to @Liam4Orkney for the Scottish Parliament mention.
@ayubkhan786 your staff conference in 2019 was such a wonderful experience and I remember it very fondly. Everyone I met were so lovely, interested in what I had to say and willing to share their knowledge and expertise with me. I also loved the tour I was given. Thank you.
11/11 - The award was life changing, encouraging me to speak at conferences @CILIPIreland @CILIPinfo @CILIPScotland about my work and living in Orkney. Most importantly, it enabled me to meet the most inspiring and supportive library staff you could ever imagine!
