A freshman cheerleader was riddled with bullets in a mass shooting at a Halloween party over the weekend. 19-year-old Giana Dettloff was fatally shot at a Halloween gathering over the weekend while she visited a friend in Bloomington, Illinois. According to eyewitnesses, three individuals were ‘acting suspicious’ before opening fire into the crowd. Nine people were injured in the shooting. No description of the suspects was provided. I'm Iranian. I've lived under the Islamic Republic for decades. I've seen how they ruined my country and took away our freedoms and every single right we had. They control what you can wear, what music you can listen to, how you behave in public, and even how men and women are allowed to interact. Women are forced to follow a dress code. Women can't even sing solo in public. Dancing can get you in trouble. Drinking alcohol is illegal. Having a private party with men and women together can get your home raided and everyone arrested. Relationships outside marriage are criminalized. Even what you can watch, listen to, say, and post online is subject to censorship. Social media platforms are blocked. You can be punished, imprisoned, or even executed for speaking out against the regime. Your own home isn't necessarily safe from their interference. Your private life isn't yours. Your freedom isn't yours. They want to dictate how you live, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. This is the country I grew up in. This is what I experienced. They took so much from me that I was eventually forced to flee my own country. America, I'm terrified for you. I know exactly where this road leads. I've watched it. I lived it.

As I documented in my book, COVID-19 response followed a NGO-created playbook. Virtually everything we saw was a self-fulfilling prophecy. After the swine flu, NGOs invested massive amounts of money into preventing a worldwide pandemic situation. They did gain of function research on bat coronaviruses because they considered it to be the most likely pandemic source (because of the original SARS). They then created the tabletop exercises and set in stone recommendations - all of which got implemented to disastrous results. Then, COVID-19 of course happened, and immediately they had to squash down any lab leak speculation in order to preserve their own legitimacy and complicity. The truth is, we would have been far more flexible in responding to COVID-19 it would have done much less damage if we had never done any "preparation." The risk profile was so asymmetrical, the right approach was to isolate the high risk demographics and then let everyone else go on as normal. Their tabletop exercises did not allow for such nuance. The BLM protests and election integrity exercises were a separate lane as far as I could tell.
