🚨 TUESDAY TAKEDOWN: STEAL SNAP. GET BUSTED.
More than $1 MILLION in alleged SNAP fraud at a Michigan convenience store.
Mohinder Singh, operator of Romario’s Party Store in Lansing, was indicted on one count of theft of public money and nine counts of SNAP fraud.
Prosecutors allege he:
▪️ Gave customers just 50 cents in cash for every $1 in SNAP benefits.
▪️ Accepted SNAP benefits to pay off personal debts and store credit.
▪️ Exchanged benefits for ineligible items.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison for theft of public money and up to five years for each SNAP fraud count.
SNAP is meant to help families put FOOD on the table. Taxpayers should never bankroll a fraud scheme.

Unfortunately, this is also how states often handle welfare enrollment.

What was your first job? Where did you meet your friends, your spouse? Who would you call in an emergency? Chances are - someone you worked with. It’s not just about a dollar - work delivers far more social capital, and positive feeling, than a welfare dollar ever will.
Work is the primary driver of economic stability and mobility for families. Community engagement requirements are most effective when paired with employment and education services and compliance assistance. | Forefront

“Ranked choice” voting is a gateway to confusion and fraud (intentionally). Repeal!!
“A voter intending to rank Sen. Sullivan first could accidentally rank Sullivan Jr. instead, causing their vote to initially count toward the wrong candidate.”
No matter how much you hate ranked-choice voting, you can never hate it enough.

Caleb Hammer tells a 24-year-old who says she’s “too cute” to flip burgers to “go f*ck yourself” after she admits she was on MEDICAID and pocketed $20,000 in COVID unemployment money as a high school senior.
Hammer asked if she pays taxes. She hasn’t filed in two years. That’s when he snapped.
HAMMER: “You had Medicaid. You choose to quit jobs because you’re entitled, and we give you Medicaid?”
“I’m okay with government programs. I really am. For people that fall on hard times. You didn’t. You chose to leave [your job]. Why would we support someone who’s choosing to leave?”
“You’re literally like, ‘I won’t flip burgers. I’m better. I’m overqualified for burgers.’ So why would I give you assistance if you’re not willing to go get a job? Go f*ck yourself.”
VANESSA: “But I am willing to get a job. I’m actively applying.”
HAMMER: “Not burgers. You’re picking and choosing. If you’re picking and choosing, then we should not give you anything.”
VANESSA: “I am absolutely picking and choosing because it’s where I valued.”
HAMMER: “Good. And we shouldn’t value your picking and choosing to give you benefits.”
Taxpayers covered her healthcare, handed her $20K in COVID money, and she keeps reaping benefits because she refuses to get a job.
This is what the welfare state buys. Tell me again why we keep funding it.

If this weren’t bad enough, when the Trump administration busted him and seized the fraudulent EBT cards, state bureaucrats just sent him replacements.

At a minimum, every single "adult daycare" in NY, CA, and IL should be immediately audited before another cent leaves the treasury.
As usual @TheMaineWire's award winning reporting is making a real world difference. This time by alerting the public about potential election fraud/crimes.
