Terrible framing from Rupert Lowe:
"comments that clearly weren't meant for wider audiences."
He exposes himself here. Decent, ethical people don't harbour disgusting opinions about others, openly or privately.
These people don't even realise they are rotten inside, do they?
Lots of questions on the ITV 'investigation' into Reform.
It's absolutely scandalous how those journalists behaved, to be entirely honest.
Secretly recording members/councillors who made comments that clearly weren't meant for wider audiences.
Evidently I have my disagreements with Reform, but the way those journalists lied to gain trust and then publish private remarks is vile.
Gutter journalism.
You are around 40 times more likely to die of gun homicide in the US vs Europe. If any American uses the words "Trust us" when it comes to gun law, ignore anything that comes out of their mouths.
Business owners in the EU should be allowed to arm themselves and staff, after a background check and gun safety training.
Guns need to stay locked up at store when not being worn by trained staff.
You give the five guys working in the kitchen a $300 tactical shotgun in a situation like this and there wouldn't be any more riots!
“Now serving criminal 69!”
Go full “rooftop Koreans” (look it up)
Defend your cities, citizens and property!
Trust us, when we left Europe we locked up the second amendment for good reason.
There’s nothing like the holy trinity of an antihistamine, a Lemsip and an episode of Grand Designs to get you through a bout of covid. 🤧
No doubt tonight’s episode will feature Bethany and Rupert, their twins Eggshell and Crumpet, and their plans for an entirely upside-down, airtight passive house built overhanging a cliff in Cornwall, with their modest £1.6 million budget, funded by Rupert’s artisanal stationery tech startup exit, income from Bethany’s tree bark tea company, and a small contribution of £1.5 million from Rupert’s parents.
Cracking stuff!
GB News would never be so daring as to attempt real journalism though, Chris. It’s just a bunch of fanatics sat in a studio paid to spread propaganda.
Zia Yusuf has made an extraordinary series of public statements presenting alleged criminal conduct by ITV journalists as established fact, in an apparent attempt to intimidate and silence the free press.
He does not say “Reform alleges that…” or “the journalists may have committed…”. He repeatedly states that criminal offences were committed by people who, as far as the public record shows, have not been charged or convicted of those offences. If these serious allegations cannot ultimately be substantiated, Yusuf could have exposed himself to significant civil liability, including a potentially serious defamation claim.
Let’s take his five claims.
“They forged a passport.”
This is a serious criminal allegation, not an established fact. There is a potentially relevant offence under the Identity Documents Act 2010, but whether it was committed depends on precisely what document was created or altered, what the journalist knew and the statutory intention involved.
Yusuf has converted an allegation about what happened to a document into a definitive declaration that a criminal offence was committed. That is a very different thing.
“These crimes carry up to 10 years in prison.”
This is pure rhetorical intimidation. A maximum sentence attached to an offence does not establish that the offence has occurred.
“They committed a criminal offence by being paid to canvass” and “almost certainly altered the results.”
This is where Yusuf’s argument becomes particularly misleading. These journalists were not paid by ITV to canvass for Reform. They were paid by ITV as undercover investigative journalists. Their participation in Reform campaign activity was part of maintaining their undercover identities. ITV did not employ them to promote Reform candidates, procure votes or act as Reform canvassers.
Yusuf then claims they “almost certainly altered” election results, without producing evidence that they changed a single vote. That is a disputed interpretation of the law followed by an entirely unsupported claim about election outcomes.
“They lied to a veteran and left him violated.”
This is emotive rhetoric, not an identified criminal offence. Undercover journalism necessarily involves deception where revealing the journalist’s identity would defeat the investigation. Pretending otherwise is simply to misunderstand how undercover journalism works.
“This is unprecedented.”
It isn’t. British journalists have used false identities, covert recording and deception for decades to investigate corruption, criminality, racism and misconduct. These are established investigative techniques, subject to the law and broadcasting regulation, not some novel weapon invented to target Reform.
A free press is not supposed to obtain permission from the political parties it investigates. Undercover journalism does not suddenly become criminal simply because the people being investigated object to what it uncovered.
If you want to understand the danger of political parties with vast financial resources using litigation and legal threats to pressure the press, this is what it looks like.
We have already seen Donald Trump use lawsuits and legal threats against major news organisations to prevent them exposing his conduct. Now Reform is threatening journalists with police action and “relentless” legal proceedings to silence them.
It's worth recognising the irony today in terms of misleading identities, that the UK Parliament officially recognises @CPhilpOfficial as the Shadow Home Secretary, whilst @ZiaYusufUK misleads the electorate by publicly presenting himself as such.

Mario Nawfal has nearly 4 million followers - he had around 200k followers before Elon Musk endorsed him.
Here he is spreading false, anti-immigrant propaganda in the UK.
To fact check, this guy isn't an immigrant. He's clearly a local petty crook, with a London accent, ironically robbing a store that is more than likely owned by hardworking, taxpaying Polish immigrants.
Every day you will see content on this platform that is intended to mislead you about immigrants, make you angry and afraid of them.
The big question - who pays Mario and others to do this?
As a Brit, I’m often told to “stay in my lane” when I comment on American politics. But when decisions made in Washington affect Britain’s security, our relationship with Europe, our democracy and the information reaching British voters, American politics is absolutely our business.
The Trump administration’s increasingly alignment with Putin, its repeated verbal attacks on European democracies, the enormous influence of tech billionaires and their platforms to spread division & misinformation that closely align with Russia’s interests. Those narratives undermine trust in European institutions, weaken NATO, destabilise our democracies and push voters towards the hard right meaning a weaker, divided Europe that is less able to resist further Russian expansion.
Europe has its problems, but we still have free elections, free speech and the right to protest without fearing deportation or being shot by ICE. Meanwhile, Russia, increasingly aided by Trump’s administration, is working to destabilise moderate European governments, undermine public trust and democratic institutions, and help install political forces sympathetic to Moscow in positions of power across Europe.
Nigel Farage regularly appears on RT, a Kremlin-backed television network, and has made numerous statements over the years sympathetic to Russia. His close associate Nathan Gill was convicted of taking Russian bribes, while one of his major political backers, Arron Banks, had multiple meetings with Russian officials during the Brexit referendum.
Moving on to Tommy Robinson, the links are even more stark: Robinson was in Moscow as recently as March this year, has publicly praised Russia, and has been appointed a "goodwill ambassador" for a Russian propaganda network that operates under Putin’s administration. And this is just the tip of the iceberg...
None of this is directed at ordinary Americans, many of whom are deeply concerned about what is happening in their own country. It is directed at those who continue to vociferously defend Trump’s conduct despite the corruption, the attacks on democratic institutions, and the damage he is doing not only to America, but to democracies and security around the world, and at the Republican politicians who have enabled it.
I genuinely hope Americans of all political backgrounds recognise the threat this regime poses to your democracy, and think carefully about what that means when you vote in the midterms.
For those who don’t know what Zelensky is referring to, he is talking about Starshield (SpaceX’s government and military satellite system), which was restricted in Ukraine when Trump made an oil deal with Russia.
This is an utterly unforgivable betrayal of an allied nation.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Andrew Norfolk of The Times and youth worker and whistleblower Jayne Senior worked together to uncover the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.
And they were the reason these rapists were jailed.
This started in 1999 TR was 17 years old, he was a football hooligan and was a prominent member of the Luton Town MIGs.
Like I've already said he simply jumped on their coattails. Facts are important.
If people want to understand the objections to Elon Musk, look at what he chooses to do with his enormous resources.
Today, he has reportedly spent another £200,000 on the legal costs of Tommy Robinson, a far-right, drug-addicted thug with a long criminal record.
Robinson was convicted in 2005 of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assaulting an off-duty police officer, receiving a 12-month sentence. In 2011, he was convicted of assault after headbutting a man and received a 12-week suspended sentence. That same year, he was convicted of threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour after a football-related brawl and received a community rehabilitation order.
In 2013, he was jailed for 10 months after using somebody else’s passport to enter the United States. In 2014, he received 18 months for mortgage fraud. In 2019, he was jailed for contempt of court after interfering with proceedings in a grooming-gang trial. And in 2024, he received another 18 months for deliberately breaching a court injunction by repeating false allegations about a Syrian schoolboy.
Now, in 2026, he is back in court facing two charges of harassment causing fear of violence against journalists. He denies the charges.
Rather than using that money to help the hungry, the homeless, the sick, Elon Musk is choosing to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds helping fund his legal battles.
Can someone who supports Musk genuinely explain the moral justification for this?
It’s quite incredible to see how utterly duped good, hard-working people have been by this man.
He didn’t expose the grooming gangs. The people who actually exposed what was happening included Jayne Senior, Labour MP Ann Cryer, and Andrew Norfolk of The Times, alongside countless victims, whistleblowers, social workers, journalists and others who had been raising the alarm for years.
Tommy Robinson took an existing scandal, turned it into his personal political brand, and convinced gullible working people that he was some kind of heroic figure who had single-handedly exposed it.
He has made himself rich from that mythology, while spending his time stuffing coke up his nose and living the life of luxury at the expense of gullible, vulnerable working people who donated to him.
You lot literally donated £100,000s to pay these legal fees, and Tommy literally just told you all Musk paid them instead, and no one is asking where the £100,000s you all donated has gone then?!
It’s incredibly sad to see just how many people in these comments have been utterly duped by this man.
Well this is just utterly embarassing.
GB Media (GB News parent), the group owned by Sir Paul Marshall and his Dubai based investment company, which mainly made its money investing in post-Soviet Russian oil assets, are launching GB Radio.
The Dubai/Russian oil funded station will only play music from British and Northern Irish artists.
You could not make this stuff up.
