It turns out this was a good move.

Waking up and reseeing Eric Bauza has indeed passed away and isn't a sick dream is still rather upsetting. So, I wanted to honor him by showing off his voice as two of my most favorite Looney Tunes characters, being Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner from the World of Mayhem.

This post is long overdue, but no time feels better to share this art than the day of the final full moon before October 31st.
This year's been extremely busy, but I hope to have more art to post soon.
Thank you, and Happy Halloween!

Eric Bauza dying of heart disease should be a wake up call to get checked yourself if you feel any pains in your chest

I’ll never forget my disappointment when I was a kid and saw this cover of Entertainment Weekly, like holy shit they nailed it he’s perfect
And then it turns out that was just one of his drones

As a massive fan of animation, I really admired and respected Eric Bauza. If you’re like me, it was very easy to see a bit of yourself in him, because he never lost his fandom or passion for the art of cartooning. Though he got his fame from voice acting, he started out in animation as an artist, doing work at Spumco in the early 2000’s.
Even at the peak of his acting career in the last few years, he never forgot where he came from, and he brought the sensibility of being an animation fanatic and artist both to his performances and his support for those in the industry.
When there was a strike or a protest, you could find him on the picket line. When Coyote v Acme was unfairly canned by Warner Bros, he never stopped speaking out about it, despite being the de facto face of the brand. It’s so heartwarming seeing all of the support and messages he’d given to cartoonists on social media through the years, no matter how small they were. He was always looking out for the little guy. Through it all, he was a lover of cartoons and people above all else.
On that note, he was a great ambassador for animation in the public eye during these rocky times for the industry as a whole, constantly going on podcasts and sharing his love for cartoons on social media. Even as someone who didn’t know him personally, I’ll miss him very much. May he rest in peace.

One thing I'll always cherish about Eric Bauza is his fight to get Coyote Vs. Acme out after it was shelved by WB. He was the film's biggest champion and supported it all the way and I'm glad he was at least able to see it released and become a critical and commercial hit.

I feel like these things are so important to kids growing up that you can’t really outgrow them
Just my thoughts
The film portrays him as a despicable person who suffers punishment for his actions, but when he finally understands what he's doing wrong, he doesn't play the victim and accepts that he's a terrible person.
At the end of the film, we see that he changes and learns.

It’s simple, Kuzco is actually well written.
