246"26 #TheOdyssey 70mm rd3, my ears were ringing. Elliot Page & Hamish Patel highlight this round, really great foiling to Damon. 70mm is still great but miss the imax factor. Brain still does gymnastics that some stuff isnt just straight up cg, tho wish Scylla was more designed

344"26 #TheEel DC. My first Imamura Shohei. Wow, the sense of longing, whimsy, & emotions from this ensemble is just oh so impressive; can totally picture this as an anime film, esp with its fight scenes๐Ÿ˜…. At 134 mins, there's a lot of breathing space, wonder how 117 feels.

345"26 #TheLegendofHei2 11th SGC International Film Festival. 4th time seeing this & still oh so impressed with the amount of animations be it backgrounds or expressions. The action is still so good. Hope reddit is right & we'll get 3 in 2030. Gotta check out the web series.

Zhang Yimou came to Boston to present Hero in 2003. I was there as a backup translator. During the Q and A a Chinese unc said Hero was as good as his fave show Romance of the Three Kingdoms, then he asked Zhang Yimou if he knew if the series was ever going to be released on DVD

AOC reminds us that the big ugly bill republicans passed will kick in, in 2027 and republicans will blame the misery they caused on democrats. Yes they are that evil.

Google is trying to use its monopoly power to force AI into our public schools. No corporation should have the power to dictate how we teach our children.ย  Our public schools exist to serve students, not to grow the profit margins of Big Tech. nytimes.com/2026/11/03/us/goโ€ฆ

Google Will Turn Off Search for Schools That Reject A.I.

Google is making it easier to restrict its A.I. tools for students. But schools that block A.I. entirely will lose student access to Googleโ€™s search engine.
