i really don't care for the "rehabilitation of capitalism to halt the search for better" pr these politicians are doing, but i *really* need white and non-black politicians to stop quoting black leaders and revolutionaries when we know they don't give a fuck about black people.
James Talarico: Capitalism was an innovation. I think we forget that now. The idea that you should be rewarded, that you should be compensated for your time, for your work, that was a revolutionary idea. And that's not what we have today. We have crony capitalism. The gains in this economy go to those who can afford to buy access, who can afford to buy politicians for control. Dr. King said something similar: "We have socialism for the rich and we have rugged individualism for the poor."

i am for the struggles of autonomous sections of the working class. i don't think they need to be subservient to some abstract unity to struggle for their own aims. ETB opposes this, and his stupid vaushite and leftcom followers eat it up

"Voting is a kind of prayer about the kind of world you want to live in." Well, voting and prayer both accomplish almost exactly the same amount, so yes, I guess that's true.

the "stay in your lane" bullshit is a phenomenon primarily among liberals and socdems. anarchists have never cared about it (see the GFU) and marxists (esp ultras) in this country are ideologically devoted to whiteness, so this whole thread is like something from topsy turvy land

thank you ETB for defending the real victims: white leftists! they're being so bullied by the big meanies (women and black people.) as we all know, the white left cares so much about what POC radicals and women have to say, so thank you for saying they should care even less!!
Replying to @EcoTechBro
We have all seen this dynamic play out. This is why white leftists in particular, typically have the sort of weak demeanor we have all seen, as opposed to much more confident and bullish black leftists and rad fems.

Why save the United States? A question Black folks have asked themselves since Nat Turner.
The watershed moment already happened. The Dem party and GOP both slipped drastically in polling. 2/3 of the country identify as indie and the majority lean far left of the right wing Dem party. I hope Mike Rogers loses. But, it's already ripe for an independent movement. Why are some people so insistant on saving a dying and corrupt party? When the electorate is wanting something new?

ppl say this to lament the lack of a Party™, of which the PSLs and DSAs of the world aren't, so says these folks. fair enough! idk, tho; the constancy of revolt, paired with the infrequency of (social) revolution, means that (us) revolutionaries should listen more and speak less
apparently 2020 “lacked staying power because there was no infrastructure, no coherent ideology, no organization.” ppl like you will say that about every revolt. what, did you read Bevins or Bayat and decide you had it figured out? cmon

It cannot be overstated how culturally significant Anakin poasting is. I dont think you could engineer a better anti-progressive memetic virus in lab if you tried.

I need people understand that understaffing isn't a bug of where you work, or your manager being a dick, but a feature of a system constantly trying to minimize its biggest cost (labor). Every place I've ever worked it's presented as a perpetually temporary problem. It isn't.
I don't know which employer needs to hear this, but it's not your employees' responsibility to work twice as hard just because you've decided not to hire enough people to get the job done

a very under discussed reason why so many jobs are on skeleton crews is so they can overwork you to the point you turn into an armchair supervisor who cares about people calling in sick because that means even more work you have to do

All 12 of Michigan’s federally recognized Native American tribes are demanding the immediate closure of the Enbridge Line 5 fossil fuel pipeline, which runs through the Straits of Mackinac. A spill there would contaminate 20% of the world’s fresh surface water
fyi there are about 30,000 more native Americans in Michigan than Jews and there has been zero discussion of them and their concerns at all because they are considered sub-human by the entire Zionist media and political class

🇧🇫 TRAORE BANS PRISONS IN BURKINA FASO. In a bold shift, Ibrahim Traoré has announced that petty offenders will no longer sit idle in prisons. Instead, they will work on state farms producing food for the nation as part of their sentence. The more hardwork one offers, the more reduction of the sentence in the prison. His message was clear: Keeping petty offenders locked up is a waste of both time and national resources. Already, over 4,000 inmates are being trained to become farmers, turning punishment into productivity. WOWWW !!!! #AfricaRising #BurkinaFaso #powerfulafrica @CapitaineIb226
