Devastating news for regional access to opera & for commissioning. #glasshuman (my first opera) was commissioned for the 2022 tour. It was part of opening up of the tour to include new work. It was great to be part of this vision. ACE funding cuts are obliterating this progress.

Yesterday was such a whirlwind with the opening of #glasshuman @glyndebourne . What a committed group of performers, artists, technicians. I'm in awe of them all.
And now we get to do it all over again today! And then off on the road around the UK! 🚗
