As president I would make you submit proof of having riffs in E standard before being allowed to tune to anything below it. As dictator I would ban all tunings below C unless you’re in Meshuggah.

I think bands should only be allowed to tune lower than F if they can actually make their guitars sound good. Too many bands take the Sleep Token approach of having their guitars sound like shitty sludge tuned to drop z
