How big was the early vote for Dems? Cooper in NC, Talarico in TX and Ossoff in GA all had more EARLY votes than their opponents had in total, per @NBCNews decision desk. Put another way, they could have each received zero election day votes and still won.

Pope Leo XIV has requested a mail-in ballot for next weekâs U.S. midterm elections, the Will County Clerkâs Office confirms to @NBCNews.
The pope remains registered to vote in Illinois under his birth name, Robert Francis Prevost. His ballot, requested on Oct. 3, has not yet been returned.
If he votes, Leo, the first American pope, would subsequently become the first sitting pope to cast a ballot in a U.S. election.
