The Alaga is incompetent. She doesn't deserve to be one.
I’ll never understand why a Yoruba man will be doing the Dobale to a non-Yoruba bride on their wedding day.

No... because you won't see a Yorùbá man asking his bride to look for him in the crowd with covered palmwine at his wedding just because he personally loves palmwine or that part of Igbo weddings...are you people actually mad?... you're all wicked

“We Played Football Together”: Former Classmates Recount How Quiet Schoolboy Became ISWAP Commander He was remembered as a shy, gentle student who played football and shared meals with classmates. Years later, Abdussamad Ohida, also known as Anwar, emerged as a senior Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) commander linked by security authorities to deadly attacks across Nigeria. Ohida was killed in October during a joint security operation in Owo Forest, Ondo State, involving the military, intelligence operatives and Amotekun. According to HumAngle’s investigation, he played a key role in ISWAP’s efforts to expand beyond the North-East into North-Central and southwestern Nigeria. Former classmates told HumAngle they struggled to reconcile the quiet student they knew with the man described in security reports. One recalled that he listened to jihadist songs at school, while another said they heard he joined Boko Haram around 2016, shortly after graduating in 2015. Security sources said he was approximately 16 or 17 at the time. The Nigeria Sanctions Committee designated Ohida in March 2024 as a senior ISWAP commander based in Okene, Kogi State. Security sources linked him to attacks including the killing of five police officers at Ogaminana Police Station, assaults on security formations in Okene and the July 2022 attack on a military checkpoint along the Suleja–Zuba Road. Authorities also linked him to other major incidents, including the Owo Catholic Church attack and the Kuje prison break. Security experts say extremist groups exploit local knowledge, community connections, poverty and vulnerable young people to recruit members, establish safe houses and expand into new territories. Although Ohida’s death removes a senior figure, experts warn that tackling recruitment networks and the conditions that enable radicalisation remains essential. How did a boy his classmates remember as gentle become a senior terrorist commander? HumAngle’s investigation examines his journey and what it reveals about the spread of extremism in Nigeria. Source: HumAngle, Isah Ismaila, October 26, 2026.
