Bengaluru, we heard you. 🫶 A lot of you told us that waiting a few days for your Uncanned cans just wasn’t it. So, we’ve worked on it. Same-day & next-day delivery is now available in select parts of Bengaluru at no extra cost. Because if you’re craving a can, you shouldn’t have to wait too long. šŸ„šŸ‹šŸŠ

Should the government regulate flight ticket prices, or should airlines be allowed to operate purely on market dynamics? On one hand, airlines should have the freedom to price tickets based on demand and supply. On the other, air travel is increasingly an essential service, and prices shooting up by 500–700% during peak demand can make it inaccessible to many. Where should we draw the line between free-market economics and consumer protection? Would you prefer government-regulated fare caps or a completely open market?

The Supreme Court exchange on soaring airfares raises an interesting question.
Counsel mentions a PIL concerning a 700% increase in airfares. Justice Vikram Nath: Don’t travel by air. Counsel: It is an essential service. This is a violation of Article 14. Justice Vikram Nath: Alright, don’t travel. Next case.

The Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train was announced in 2017. Nearly a decade later, it is still under construction. At this rate, Bengaluru–Chennai and Bengaluru–Hyderabad might become reality sometime in 2040. Big infrastructure announcements make great headlines. But what we really need are clear, realistic deadlines, accountability and execution. Announce the vision, but also commit to a timeline.
Bengaluru-Chennai in just 73 minutes and Bengaluru-Hyderabad in 2 hours 10 minutes! PM Shri @narendramodi Ji has approved the Southern Bullet Train Corridor connecting Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amaravati and Chennai which will transform connectivity across South India. This corridor will bring these major economic and technology hubs closer, creating an integrated economic region. - Union Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji

Delhi fixed its AQI by simply stopping people from talking about it.
How did Delhi fix its AQI? Remarkable.

How beautiful is Bengaluru on its Rajyotsava day! ā¤ļø I genuinely feel there are very few places that celebrate their state’s formation with this much enthusiasm and collective pride. From malls and residential communities to corporates, associations and unions, it’s wonderful to see everyone coming together to celebrate Karnataka’s identity, culture and heritage. As someone living in Bengaluru, it’s genuinely heartwarming to witness this spirit. Much love and respect to Karnataka.

There’s a different kind of happiness in walking into a retail store and spotting something you’ve built sitting on the shelves. Not long ago, Uncanned was just an idea we were figuring out. Today, seeing it alongside established brands across retail stores in Bengaluru feels surreal. We’re still early in the journey, with miles to go. But moments like these remind you why you started. One shelf at a time. One store at a time. Building Uncanned. ā¤ļø

Huge Congratulations @arindam___paul and Team. A massive milestone and an exciting step towards the IPO. I’m also a big fan of @arindam___paul and his work. His book has been a great source of learning and inspiration. At Uncanned, we’re also trying to learn, implement a few of the principles shared in his book, and apply those learnings as we navigate our own journey of building and scaling a brand. Wishing the entire Atomberg team continued success. Excited to see what’s next! šŸš€

IMO, the only long-term headaches with holding on to an iPhone are battery health and storage. Storage can always be managed by paying for iCloud, but battery degradation is a different story. Once battery health drops, you’re constantly dealing with faster drain, and eventually replacing the battery becomes unavoidable. That’s probably the biggest reason people consider upgrading.
My iPhone 15 has been draining a little too fast, i checked the battery percentage and it is at 80 Should i use this for like 2 more years or just get a new one (iphone 17) with exchange offer

One thing I’ve noticed in almost every beauty parlour and salon is YouTube running on the TV all day, but without a Premium subscription. Imagine sitting through ads while getting your haircut or facial. šŸ˜‚

I genuinely don’t understand why people still book SpiceJet in the 21st century just to save some money. Flights getting cancelled, refunds becoming a headache, and travel plans going for a toss. Is saving a few hundred bucks really worth that risk? I’d rather pay more than deal with this uncertainty. Some savings just aren’t worth it.
.@flyspicejet my flight for 2nd nov got cancelled from Blr to Ahemdabad with no refund. Please send me my money back. I promise to never book from you again. Sorry. no one from customer support is picking up.

Living in Bellandur is so bad that commuting from another part of Bangalore feels like a better option than living next to your office.
People travelling to Bellandur to the office on a daily basis during peak hour traffic, how on earth do you guys do it? I’d to visit just two days for this week for a client visit and it sucked the life out of me. Spent close to four hours on the road yesterday. Well, unless the Metro becomes functional on that route, the people will continue to suffer. Man, it’s a horrendous experience for daily commuters!

Sometimes, corporate life is less about work and more about a manager’s battle of egos. A designation gives you authority, not the right to humiliate someone. You can correct someone’s mistakes without stripping them of their dignity. If you need to make someone feel small to feel powerful, you’re not a leader.
one of the most humiliating things about corporate life is watching a grown man get scolded like a child in front of his coworkers. we’re all adults trying to make a living. you can correct someone’s mistakes without stripping them of their dignity.

For emerging brands, getting discovered on quick commerce is already an uphill battle. Thousands of organic reviews across platforms, genuine customer feedback, and a product people love can still mean little if a single category manager says no. Can we build a more transparent, data-driven onboarding process that gives new brands a fair shot instead of leaving their fate to a single decision-maker?

All units sold out. šŸš€ Bro, was the inventory 5 iPhones or 1? šŸ’€
We launched iPhone Duo on Blinkit at 8:15 AM this morning (only in Delhi NCR). All units were sold out within 5 minutes 🤯 We're working on getting more stock in the coming weeks.

If even half of what this documentary alleges is true, it’s genuinely scary. The idea that rules, regulations and public resources could be manipulated to favour a select few at the cost of an entire country should worry every Indian. No one should be bigger than the system. And no one should be above scrutiny.

Apparently, an Indian leaving the US to build something back home is enough to trigger people. We’ll take that energy and put it into building something worth talking about. We’re not here to argue. We’re here to build. šŸ‡®šŸ‡³
Oct 16 marks my last working day in the US. I handed in my badge. Nobody pushed me. No layoff, no visa scare, no deadline. I chose to leave. Earlier this year I had to turn down an MBA at McCombs. That one still stings a little. For three years I kept busy in garage door industry tech development in the leading brand in USA through the chip shortage. Every night after work I’d scroll through Indian FMCG. Brand launches, funding rounds, founders posting their first Blinkit listing. I watched people start with one SKU and a WhatsApp group and turn it into a brand you see in every fridge. I was there for the early posts. I kept telling myself ā€œsomeday.ā€ Someday got uncomfortable. So I’m moving back to India to build Uncanned, a prebiotic soda with no added sugar. I don’t have the network those founders had. I’m starting from almost zero here, and I’m not too proud to say I need people. Before I leave, I’ll be at SupplySide Global, BevNET Live in LA and Nosh Live top beverages and RTE expos. If you’re there, I’d love to grab a coffee. And if you’re in FMCG anywhere, let’s talk shop. Trends, finds, mistakes, all of it. Who was the first person who believed in you before you had anything to show? Drop your questions and feel free to tag known ones in this space. āœŒļø

Leaving the comfort of a job to build something you believe in takes a different kind of conviction. Proud to be building Uncanned with you. This is just the beginning. šŸ„¤ā¤ļø
