Our “systems” love to tell everyone what everyone needs to do or not do. It was “college for all” and now the narrative is that no one needs college. In 2017 only 32% of OH HS grads completed an Associates Degree or higher during the “college for all” era. We actually need to increase that % moving forward AND we also need more in the trades and non college paths(credit @OhioExcels Reality Check). We need more people doing everything!! 💥 Choose a path aligned to the intersection of your strengths and industry needs and follow accordingly! 💪 @futureplansoh @grit_ohio @AppSTEMCollab @shp_design

The data below represents 34k plus students “favorited” careers following assessment and 1hr personal coaching session(62% shifted their previous interest after coaching). To “piggy back”- 2014 Gallup data reported that students are 30x more engaged when schools focus on their student’s strengths and at least one teacher excites them for their future.
