Huge corporations like Amazon, Walmart, and Uber are among the top employers of SNAP and Medicaid recipients. Meanwhile, their CEOs are raking in multi-million dollar pay packages. How is this not a bigger scandal?

Trump must be impeached for undermining and subverting our free and fair elections. And when he sends ICE agents to the polls, then we must turn civic action into civil disobedience and take to the streets. Sit in. Protest. Withhold our labor. Everything must be on the table.

President Trump's approval rating is underwater for a simple reason. Americans are struggling with high costs, and he refuses to do anything about it. Instead of using tonight's address to lay out a plan to make groceries, housing, or health care more affordable, he spent it laying the groundwork to steal the midterms and ram through his partisan voter suppression bill.   The conspiracy theories he pushed tonight follow a familiar pattern. The President and his allies claim fraud only in the elections they lose, never in the ones they win, and never with a shred of evidence. In 2020, Republicans across the country insisted the election was stolen from Donald Trump while happily taking office on the very same ballots. Those lies fueled the attack on our Capitol on January 6th, and tonight the President made clear he's ready to run the same playbook again.   I'll review the documents declassified tonight, despite the fact that much of this has been exhaustively litigated. But it's worth noting how quickly this White House moves when it wants to manufacture a scandal, and how slowly it moves on the Epstein files, including those detailing the President's close personal relationship with a serial child sex offender.

AI companies are cashing in on America's broken, unaffordable health care system. They're encouraging people to upload medical records and scans. They're rolling out new "health" AI tools. They're doing it because your data is worth money. I have a privacy bill to push back.

.@AOC is right. This is not a surprise. This is cause and effect. Democrats stopped withholding funding for ICE and now Trump’s thugs are back to murdering civilians in broad daylight. We have to abolish ICE. And how we’re going to get there is stopping the funding.
AOC: I said a couple of weeks ago: I would not be surprised if ICE funding started up again, we would start to see more civilian deaths at the hands of ICE… We didn’t see things like this happening to the same degree when we froze ICE funding.

In the past week alone ICE has shot and killed two more people. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Joan Sebastian Guerrero. Republicans just keep giving more and more funding to this rogue agency. What we need is to stop this violence. Enough is enough.

CEOs of the largest companies in America make 281 times what the typical worker makes. Since 1978, pay for these CEOs has skyrocketed 1,094%. Typical worker pay? 26%. So no, your $5 coffee isn’t why you can’t afford rent.

Here’s your periodic reminder: The worst is yet to come from Trump’s Big Ugly Bill. And that’s by design. Republicans wanted some of the worst impacts to take effect AFTER the midterms. We won’t be fooled.

Social Security's trust fund runs out in 2032. That means an over 20% cut to benefits millions of retirees depend on. The fix is straightforward: make the highest income Americans pay the same tax rate as everyone else. Congress must act now.

MIKE JOHNSON: “If we lose the midterms, the Dems will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body. They will go after the president's family, the cabinet, his donors, and friends.” This is actually the best case I’ve heard for voting Democrat.

WWII Veteran and Purple Heart recipient Robert Hilliard: "Next week I'll be 101 years old. In February 1944 when I was 18 years old I was inducted into the army and what they taught me to do there was to kill people who set up detention camps. Can you imagine how I felt earlier this year when they announced that one of the future detention camps would be at that same camp landing in Florida? We have a fascist, a fascist government, that allows innocent people to be put in detention camps and incarcerated." Source: @tomaskenn

Truth from a woman who moved from Moscow to Ukraine. "Hello everyone, my name is Ksyusha. I’m a Russian from Moscow who moved to Ukraine during the war. Today, I’m addressing my fellow countrymen. Nearly 200 drones over Moscow. For the second time in three days, the refinery in Kapotnya is burning. “Lyublino” is burning. All four of the capital’s airports are shut down. This is no coincidence. This is the first serious demonstration that Ukraine is capable of bringing the war deep into Russia. The drones were slow. Next, they’ll be faster. Next, more precise. Ukraine already has its own cruise missiles and ballistic developments. What seemed impossible yesterday is reality today. While you’re in shock from the sirens and smoke over Moscow, people in Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Kyiv have been living with this for five years already. Destroyed homes, strikes, constant fear. I know the Moscow where sirens never wailed. Now you’ve felt at least a drop of what they feel every single day. All the responsibility lies with Vladimir Putin and his regime. With the propagandists who stoke hatred every day. And with the millions of Russians who either support this war or stay silent. Russia started this war. That’s why everything now flying our way is a direct consequence of that choice. If Putin gives the order to stop the war—it will stop that same day. Zelenskyy has already offered a ceasefire many times. There’s no response. Until that order comes—the strikes on Russia will only intensify. This isn’t revenge. This is forced self-defense. Ukraine didn’t want this war. It’s simply forced to survive. It’s time to admit it!

What can we do with $750 billion instead of funding unnecessary wars? Fund high speed rail, cancel out American’s medical debt, finance education programs, and fully fund SNAP. I’m introducing the Slash the Pentagon Act to cap Trump’s bloated Pentagon budget.
