I am Bosnian & 54. I was detained in concentration camps in 1992, the camps are ‘discovered’ by journalists, but genocide continued till the end of 1995 and for years I wondered how it could have happened. I understood that Mladić… #Gaza #Bosnia #Genocide #Holocaust
I'm Jewish, British & 64
All my life, I wondered how the Holocaust could have happened. I understood that Hitler & others were EVIL, but how did millions of ordinary people go along with it?
NOW, seeing how so many in the West rationalise & defend the Gaza Genocide, I feel I have an answer and it is profoundly disturbing
Ahead of today’s first World Cup game, Bosnian legend Edin Džeko writes a letter to the children of Bosnia, reflecting on what it meant to survive war as a child and on the horrors still unfolding in the world today:
“In the end, we survived. Looking back, I’m amazed at how strong we were. We were just little kids. But there was no point to the war. All those innocent people killed, and for what?
For money. Power. Ego.
For nothing.
When there is war on the news today, I feel sick.
I don’t want to see it anywhere.
For some reason, adults never learn.” theplayerstribune.com/edin-d…

@SecGenNATO - Karremans of 21st century. NATO is a DEFENSE alliance, not supposed to support illegal genocidal wars. Also Karremans understood Ratko Mladić in 1995, main responsible for genocide in Bosnia. @realDonaldTrump belongs to jail, same as his buddy @netanyahu @ICC

An Israeli academic, Orit Perlov, posted a tweet in Hebrew, later deleted, in which she argued that confronting Iran requires a harsh religious approach targeting Iranian children, citing biblical references to the killing of newborns.
She claimed similar tactics were previously applied in Gaza, where over 14,000 children were killed according to UN statistics, and suggested applying the same model in Iran and Lebanon. She also stated that instead of targeting power stations, if top Iranian officials cannot be reached, their children should be killed.
No universal healthcare, billions in debt, Education priced like a luxury, trapping generations in loans. Housing unaffordable, people working full-time and still sleeping on the streets. Energy bills crushing ordinary families while infrastructure crumbles. #USA reality check
