‼️Liquid BBLs using hyaluronic acid dermal fillers or injectable fat transfer have to be banned ❌ We are behind @SaveFaceUK on this 💯. It is also important to make a distinction on non-surgical BBLs using Sculptra which are as safe as most other aesthetic treatments.
'The anguish on faces of butt lift victim's family will haunt me forever' Read the article written by our Director Ashton Collins in the Mirror about why we are calling for Liquid BBLs to be banned from the high street. buff.ly/3ZNHjDC

Government must not wait any longer to introduce a licensing regime. It will ensure consumers who choose to undergo a non-surgical cosmetic procedure can be confident their treatment is safe and of a high standard, and remove unscrupulous providers from the market. 7/

In the letter I specifically pointed out: “It remains legal for anyone to perform these highly dangerous procedures, regardless of their qualifications or the condition of their facilities.” 6/

Following my question I wrote to the Secretary of State explaining that whilst we wait, unscrupulous providers are continuing to treat patients, and tragically lives are being lost. I am yet to receive a response. @SaveFaceUK 5/

These findings from ITV are incredibly worrying, but sadly they do not come as a huge surprise. 🧵

We’ve been looking into the rise of botched cosmetic injection procedures - including reports of fake product with damaging side effects being used. @SaveFaceUK figures show that complaints have risen by a quarter - with over 3,000 registered in the last year alone. @GMB
Dermal fillers & botox by unlicensed practitioners were the most complained about cosmetic procedures last year. New figures from Save Face say that complaints are up 25% since 2021, but warn that the figures could be much higher as often people don't know who to complain to.

Terrifying! In our industry we see many “skinfluencers” luring teens into buying anti-ageing skincare with retinoids that are damaging their skin. Not everything is for kids, we definitely don’t want them having our skincare as much as we wouldn’t want them gambling 🙁
