I think I share the views of the majority & see this as a victory for people power & all small schools. Hopefully the truth behind all this will now be revealed. Thank you all for your incredible support & for the belief you have shown! @AlbertoCostaMP @SnowMartyn @BBCLeicester

Well done for your intervention @AlbertoCostaMP but please make sure the ‘pause’ turns into a full on STOP. As you agree, it’s fantastic how this community has come together, political views to one side. It’s about the kids and what’s best for them. This is the only way...
Alberto welcomes pause in Swinford School process albertocosta.org.uk/news/alb…

#retracttheredundancy #Pausetheprocess #saveourhead Too lovely. He is such an important male role model for the kids. #proudtobeSwinford
Why I love Mr O quote No.3
This Swinford pupil tells us what is so great about Mr O'Connor and why DLAT's decision will fail them...
"He is the best Head, he is funny, he acts like we are his family.”

Critical opportunity for new DLAT Board to repair damage @swinfordschool & relationship w/ parents & governors. Their 1st action must be #pausetheprocess & #retracttheredundancy to resolve in best interests of our children. Let’s see @AlbertoCostaMP @SaveOurHead @RosieDBennett

@SaveOurHead @DBELeicester @dmouldsCEO @DLAT_Leaders @DLATSchools Time to reset your moral compass 🧭 don’t you think? #dotherightthing
If I make up some fictitious financial figures, how long until someone finds out?! 🧐🤔🤪It’s a little game I like to play every now and then! It’s such fun! Apart from when the children cry. @SaveOurHead #timetoadmityoumadeupthe6figuredeficit

The children all adore Mr O, he is an incredible person and it’s right that the children have their chance to say how they feel. How lovely, he will be imprinted on their memories forever with all the wonderful experiences he has given them 😍#retracttheredundancy #@SaveOurHead

Will the new Directors of #DLAT do the right thing and #pausetheprocess so that the wrongs of the bungled consultation can be put right? We can but hope for BETTER, as that's whst our kids deserve #retracttheredundancy #dotherightthing #incredibleheadmastersdonotgrowontrees

Nicely put @MsHMFL @DLATSchools @DLATleaders and other academies would benefit from this approach in the UK... 'every school is a microcosm of the society it serves'. Inextricably linked. One and the same. @SaveOurHead @educationgovuk #ashamedtobeDLAT #proudtobeSwinford

Thanks @antiacademies this is how I saw the statement. @ConversationUK @leicestercofe The church and diocese board have no power. Over to the new directors need to sort....@DBELeicester. Do @educationgovuk have any power? World's gone mad.

We are desperately trying to look after our head teacher. The academy trust we belong to has served him with a redundancy notice. Shameful behaviour, taking away a dedicated, principled and inspirational man. @SaveOurHead #ashamedtobeDLAT #proudtobeSwinford
