"The Uncensored Library," launched on March 12, 2020, by Reporters Without Borders with DDB Berlin, BlockWorks, and MediaMonks, is a massive Minecraft map designed to dodge censorship by hosting banned journalism from countries like Russia and Saudi Arabia. Built with 12.5 million blocks in a neoclassical style, it started with articles from five nations, later expanding to include Brazil, Eritrea, and a COVID-19 room, totaling over 300 virtual books by 2025. Using Minecraft’s global reach—over 145 million players—it went viral with thousands of downloads, won a 2022 Peabody, and targets young gamers to spread uncensored news where press freedom is crushed.

Your entire immune system depends on ONE organ. It's not your heart, brain, or lungs. It's a far more neglected one that purifies toxins, keeps your blood clean, and protects you from ilness. Here's what it is (and why ignoring it can be your biggest mistake):

On June 11, 1962, three Alcatraz inmates left homemade dummy heads in their beds to fool the guards before launching a daring escape from the infamous island prison, never to be seen again. Though the prison officially claimed that the three men drowned and that no inmate ever successfully escaped, San Francisco police got a letter in 2013 purportedly from one of the escapees, suggesting that they'd lived free all those years.

The inventor of Vaseline, Robert Chesebrough, ate a spoonful of Vaseline a day. He was such a firm believer in its medicinal properties that he claimed to have eaten a spoonful of it every day for his entire life. During a bout of pleurisy in his 50s, he ordered his nurse to cover him from head to toe in the substance, and soon recovered. He lived to be 96.

Around 30 people perished from immediate blast trauma and acute radiation syndrome (ARS) in the seconds to months following the Chernobyl disaster in April 1986. Eight months after the nuclear accident, workers made a startling discovery. Upon entering a corridor beneath the damaged No. 4 reactor, they found a black, lava-like substance flowing from the reactor core, resembling a man-made volcano. Among these hardened masses, one stood out and was nicknamed "Elephant's Foot" due to its resemblance to the foot of a large mammal. The Elephant's Foot is a solid mass of melted nuclear fuel mixed with concrete, sand, and core sealing material. At the time of its discovery, the Elephant's Foot was emitting approximately 8,000 to 10,000 roentgens, or 80 to 100 grays, per hour, delivering a lethal dose of radiation (4.5 grays) within just five minutes.
