It's apparently privacy season across all of crypto, because Bitcoin Cash may be getting a ZK shielded pool itself soon! πŸ‘€ Thanks @GeukensMathieu for breaking down in details a lot of the Bitcoin Cash VM/script overhauls that most people have missed over the past few years.

Bitcoin Cash ( bitcoin-cash:native ) has spent years trying to answer one very un-crypto question: What if people actually used crypto as money? πŸ‘€ While the market discovered leverage, meme seasons, and approximately 47 new definitions of "utility," Bitcoin Cash kept working on peer-to-peer electronic cash πŸ’Έ But bitcoin-cash:native in 2026 isn't just about payments. We sat down with the @BitcoinCashOG team to talk about what comes next: 🧠 The Layla upgrade and smarter scripting πŸ” Zero-knowledge privacy πŸͺ™ CashTokens and programmable payments πŸ›’ What merchant adoption looks like when people actually use bitcoin-cash:native πŸ€– AI agents paying with crypto ⚑ And why real-world usage might tell us more than another price chart Same electronic cash mission. A few more tricks up its sleeve. πŸ‘‰ Learn more in this interview go.letsexchange.io/bitcoin-c… #LetsPartner

Currently waiting for Diablo 4 to update because it's preventing me from applying to take over my 20+ year late-mom's estate. With context it makes sense. πŸ˜… Sometimes the world is just absurd. 🀣

Bitcoin Cash is about to start showing up at conferences. This campaign below is our first foray into legitimate representation (an exhibit booth) at the @Futurist_conf in Toronto, July 21-22, much thanks to one of @KennethBosak's many connections in the crypto space πŸ™. The campaign below is already funded, but they really need a professional backdrop/tablecloth/booth setup that was not included in the campaign ask. A humble, but professional, backdrop will go a long way in proper representation at this event and many others in the future, so please do what you can to help these guys offset the cost by overfunding the campaign. Modest exhibit setups are about $1200 on the low end. Let's support this effort best we can! BCH FTW!πŸ’šπŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺπŸ‘‡ fundme.cash/campaign/140

You know, I really respect bcashers for being true remnants 9 years later, even after they had 2 major community splits (BSV and XEC) even after the lead developer left even after market has clearly favored small block BTC while the hashrate is ~1% of Bitcoin’s they keep going lots of high profile big blockers dropped their support around 2020 to embrace Ethereum but there are still devs shipping new features and OP codes that put Bitcoin Core to shame in spite of having fewer resources. Never had inflation bugs, the lesser degree of conservativeness didn’t make the dev team sloppy They even reported the 2018 inflation bug in Bitcoin, didn’t try to exploit it in a time when they could easily become destructive. Wasabi 2.0 was inspired by Cash Fusion, many of the covenant proposals are iterations of the already available OP_CheckDataSig and the reactivation of OP_CAT. The big blockers actually did a great job scaling Bitcoin, settling for dynamic 32 MB blocks that can be bigger only if the user pays for it, and ironically setting up much stronger foundations for trust minimized L2s. They can even run a better version of Lightning, with fewer hiccups. Without any grants from HRF, Jack Dorsey’s companies, MIT, or mainstream financial institutions – which is probably why they were able to ship code instead of trying to find the meaning of the word β€œconsensus”. Bitcoin Cash did a great job scaling and making Satoshi’s codebase more useful. I wish Core would learn and try to compete instead of β€œbikeshedding”. I also wish it wasn’t taboo to look at competing codebases and take the best parts. You know, like actual cypherpunks who don’t need to signal loyalty to a church in order to be taken seriously.

If you haven't gotten yourself a ticket to @bchbliss yet, you better hurry up -- there is only 7 days left and once the sale ends all remaining tickets are permanently burned. On the edge? Don't be - Bliss is a great event for those involved or curious about the BCH ecosystem and it's been growing year-over-year, with 2026 so far looking to be a smash hit! Last year, there was 50 attendees, and for 2026 we have already sold 74 tickets, and the sale is not even over yet!
