I hate to think that it is so normalized to spend 200+ dollars on art, just to have no updates or communication from the artist you bought it from for a year or longer. This shouldn't be normalized at all.

What would you do if you had made a 200+ dollar art commission and received no updates. Or even responses to you reaching out to them throughout the year? You aren't even on their trello page either. Like, what should I do? I contacted multiple different ways with no response.-

Sorry for tweeting so much, but Twitter throttles out-bound links, so I'm trying this again. SoCal animal shelters are overwhelmed with people dropping off injured animals they can't take with them as they flee. Many are in need of volunteers, money, and foster homes 🧡
