Loved celebrating this sweet student’s birthday on Monday! The October birthdays are keeping us busy! We love learning about each other on their special days! 🎉🎂

Had such a fun lunch with these sweet girls today! Lots of giggles, lots of joy! 🥰🎉 @SmokyRow1

We are united in being up-standers! Took a picture of so many wearing orange and then included everyone for some sweet and silly pictures together! 💗#UnityDay2020 #SafeSchoolsWeek @SmokyRow1

They earned a pom pom party and this sweet class wanted to spend our lunch together with a picnic! 🥰💗 So fun to spend time with them outside of the classroom! 💗💗🎉🎉 So proud of how they are working so hard to be responsible, respectful and ready to learn! @SmokyRow1

Loved that this sweet Smoky Row Rocket is also representing for her mom’s Rosa Parks Elementary Rockets! From one Rocket family to the other! Wishing you well Rosa Parks Rockets! 💗🚀@ctino11 @SmokyRow1

This sweet student became the teacher this week! We used this book to practice author’s purpose! We realized that the purpose was to INFORM us about Japanese culture and language! We all became so excited to have her teach us new words!🎉🥰 #celebrateourdifferences @SmokyRow1

We’ve already had two October birthdays!! 🎉🎉October is going to be a busy month of celebrations for us! (I’ve even heard rumors of a teacher birthday mixed in with the SIX student birthdays this month!😉) #celebrategoodtimes 🎉🎉

We love celebrating our classroom family birthdays! We’ve had a lot to celebrate so far this year! These were our August and September celebrations! 🎉🎉

This sweet student had one of our favorite words on her shirt! 💗 We did our cheer! “Persevere! Persevere!”🎉🎉@SmokyRow1

We talk about celebrating our differences everyday (we say it in our class pledge! 💗) Seeing students actually do this today was truly amazing! More scenes from our classroom museum today! #FantasticFriday @SmokyRow1

My heart was full today! 💗 We were inspired by the book, Milo’s Museum, to make our own classroom museum with important objects from our families! We set up our exhibits, toured the museum, and then talked to each other to get to know more about our classroom family! @SmokyRow1

Such a great fun run today! Perfect weather, awesome music, SO MANY smiles!! Thank you to ALL supporters!! Great way to end our week! 🎉@SmokyRow1

These two made my teacher heart so happy today during writer’s workshop! The student on the left saw how hard and how much the student on the right was working and said, “Wow! You inspired me to write even more!” 💗 And BOY did they work hard to grow today!#WritersInspireWriters

So proud of the way these students worked hard to use what we learned during our mini lesson to become better writers during Writer’s Workshop today!! 🥰🎉 @SmokyRow1 @myccs
