Well this is a slap in the face to communities using Fandom still, mega sounding AI article and not hearing out any feedback. If you ever felt like leaving/forking Fandom wiki now would be the time😅
I'm helping in hosting wikis and a discussion page under /f
Suppose I'll link the article in case you want to read some words from ChatGPT lol community.fandom.com/wiki/Us…

We are now in the SENATE!
After another year of conversations around DC, we have gone bicameral. Steph and I are proud to announce the launch of the Senate Creators Caucus.
Washington is making increasingly consequential decisions about AI, social media, online safety, and the future of creative work. Creators, as the front lines of these issues, should be a voice in those conversations, but historically, we've fallen into the cracks of the system.
Now we have a seat at the table.
More to come soon!

Fandom's paid staff have been blatantly plagiarizing new articles from GTA Wiki. When we removed the infringing content, Fandom banned our admins and claimed the similarities were just a coincidence.
Now we have the receipts.

Twitter Communities are being deleted May 6th (nitter.gq/nikitabier/status/2047…)
Going to leave this as alternative community locations as well as making people aware of X communities doomsday.
(Disclaimer not all of these are officially by CaseOh, I'm associated with the CaseOh wiki & subsequently it's discussion forum, not trying to advertise apologies if this isn't allowed):
- Official CaseOh discord : discord.gg/caseoh
- Unofficial Subreddit : reddit.com/r/caseoh_

Today we're announcing two product changes for organizing communities on X:
1. XChat now supports joinable links for groupchats. Create a public link & share direct to Timeline. With support for 350 members per chat (and growing), Groupchat Links are the fastest way to bring people together on X.
2. Due to declining usage, we're deprecating X Communities on May 6.
To migrate your Community's members, pin your groupchat link so people can join it over the next 2 weeks.
This is part of our broader effort to simplify the experience on X. Make no mistake: we are investing heavily in niche communities with the launch of Custom Timelines—and much more to come.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Communities' purpose is different from chat. Communities works asynchronously, meaning members can browse posts and choose which ones to engage with.
