As I have often explained the Kafkaesquian dystopia that is contemporary India is significantly rooted in the ginormous disaster that the Indic progressive project, one of the vastest and the most ambitious ever, turned out to be nitter.gq/ScrewedbyState/status/…
One of the thoughts behind the excess state power in the constitution was the belief that a progressive state needed the power to carry out unpopular social reform. Constitutional morality would have to be learned by the masses and until it was, it would be imposed top down. +

I am teaching #Manusmriti today for what it is, a searing vision of dharma as extreme inequality, patriarchy, and caste-based privilege/oppression. Except, I really did think I was teaching about early India (c. 200 CE)... thehindu.com/news/national/g…

1,100 TREES AXED. And now, “Oxygen Parks” for publicity? The Supreme Court’s directions, allegations of evidence being erased, and the felling of around 1,100 trees in Delhi’s Ridge raise deeply disturbing questions about accountability. Now Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s government wants to showcase “oxygen parks” as a milestone achievement? You cannot destroy a city’s natural lungs and then sell saplings and publicity as environmental progress! Mature trees are ecosystems, not props for inauguration ceremonies. They take decades to grow and cannot be replaced overnight by plantation drives or glossy PR campaigns. Delhi needs clean air, protected green spaces and accountability—not greenwashing. First protect the trees. Then spare us the photo-ops. 🌳

1600 **SUSPECTED** foreigners. Considering how shoddy the rest of the SIR exercise has been, it's quite likely that this 1600 figure also includes Indian nationals.
They found 1600 foreigners and killed 13 cr Indians in the process. #SIR

It is a mistake from Android to expose these states to apps so that they do random blocks and locks like this to give a false perception of security. What are the people who need the dev settings supposed to do? Disable it every time when they use Ather app? Get another phone and carry that around? Root the phone and completely isolate the app from entire system state?
Replying to @praveenpuglia
Hi Praveen! The Ather app asks to disable Developer Options as an added security measure. When these settings are enabled, phone security protocols flag them as a potential risk for unauthorized data access or app tampering. Turning them off ensures your data and connection (1/2)

Rapists can become MLAs and MPs. But protesters are not going to be eligible for govt jobs. India is literally cooked under BJP.
BIG BREAKING 🚨 No UP govt jobs for those involved in violent activities seeking ‘regime change’. Yogi Govt tightens character verification rules for candidates 🔥

Put electrical tape on all webcams.
BREAKING: Claude Code found 14,219 photos of my face on my Android that I never took. Phone was secretly taking them almost every time I picked it up. Even when I was just lying in bed. Even at home. Not screenshots. Real frames from the front camera. On the train. In the car. At home. When I just grabbed it to check the time. They were just sitting in a system cache. Timestamps and GPS on them. Nothing in Gallery. Nothing in Recently Deleted. Plugged the phone into my laptop, made a full backup, told Claude Code to look for any front-camera files that weren’t in my photos. It pulled /data/system/users/0/faceunlock/cache and another folder inside Google Play Services. Over 14 thousand files. Normal ones and infrared from Face Unlock. Every single one had time and location. Started scrolling. Almost everything from the last 15 months. Then I saw a file created 2 seconds ago. I was still looking at the folder. Phone kept taking photos while I was reading this. Google and the phone makers say Face Unlock turns everything into a mathematical model and deletes the image right away. On this phone the raw frames were just sitting there. Some of the processes writing to that folder were from system diagnostics. Couple of old apps that still had camera permission could also get in. Turned off diagnostics, revoked camera access from everything that doesn’t need it, cleared the cache. But how many of these frames already went somewhere else, I don’t know. If you want to check yours, plug it in, make a full backup or use ADB, and ask Claude to look for front-camera files outside your Gallery. Path above is where mine were.

This SIR designed to root out alien infiltrators has unearthed a grand total of 1600 foreigners in six states with an electorate of just under a 100 million, according to the Hindustan Times. Of the nearly 10 million names deleted in Karnataka, just 716 were foreigners.
So much for all the loud claims made by the likes of Modi, Shah and others BJP leaders. This is not even a rounding error and great work by @himansshhi to contact all the CEOs to compile this.

In Damoh incident, the attackers were armed with axe along with sticks during mob assault on two Muslims. Such brutality has been unleashed against Muslims in the last decade. But left-liberals hardly talk about the mass radicalization and reforms within Hindu society.

Forcing an individual to remain in a religion against their will is fundamentally anti-democratic. In a genuine democracy, every individual must have the unconditional freedom to choose their religion, reject it, or convert to any religion they find suitable. Obviously, the BJP/RSS represents upper-caste hegemony, which is maintained by forcing lower-caste Hindus and Dalits to remain part of a religion structured around a graded hierarchy. They passed anti-conversion laws in 9 states after winning the election there. Everyone who cares for democracy in this country must fight for the abolition of all such laws. It's a shame that these laws exist in our country and that we still call ourselves a democracy.

As usual, so much of the evil shit goes back to Nehru
This is happening in secular democracy. Cow slaughter laws were introduced under Congress govts since Nehru. Hundreds of Muslims were lynched and jailed over cow slaughter allegations. If Muslims criticise these things in Constitution, they will be called "extremists"
